POP Frig swap-- Link to new thread on post #1

tiink3rbella sent me a pm - she has the frig and will be checking on the coffee pot today

I will be taking along another toaster (the one from last year went MIA within a few swaps) and some type of adjustable strap.

Hopefully the toaster and coffee pot can somehow be stored inside the frig and then put the strap around the outside to keep everything secured inside with the door shut.

I will also be taping a plastic sleeve to the outside of the frig so that all you need to do is place the next swappers info inside.


Yep saw the thread about the frig swaps. I think some people are jealous because they couldn't get in on one for the dates they wanted

You know I'm one of those people who didn't get to use the fridge, no one could find it while I was there...& here's my take on all the "hoopla" - its FREE, if you needed a fridge guaranteed, pay POP the $10, or stay where there is a fridge. For me, the fridge would have been nice, would have been nice to donate my $12 coffee pot, but I wasn't going to spend hours upon hours of my vacation looking for it. I asked & looked 3 times, that's it...by the fouth day of my 7 day trip I stoppe looking. Now, I didn't come home p'od or mad or even upset...stuff happens...It wasn't the end of the world & it didn't ruin my vacation - ok I' done now

The person after me during my october trip had a hard time picking up the frig as well. I took it down to luggage services and said that they would be here within the hour to get it. It was misplaced just during that short of time. It took her husband 3 trips down. the 2nd trip he came back with the wrong frig.

I'm now going to be arriving one day earlier as the flight prices are cheaper, I'd rather spend the extra money on another night at Pop.

If greenfield1984 wants to exchange earlier (not sure when their flight is) I can swap as early as the evening of Sept. 28th.

Does the fridge have any bowls? I can leave 2 after we use it.

I see that the fridge is open for the dates March 11-20..i will be there with my family of 5 from the 13th thru the 19th....i just learned about this today and trying to understand how this works....I guess the rooms dont have a fridge and this i just a way of helping each other out? Is there a cost?
I guess I would be interested in it as I will have a 4 yr old so would be nice to store some stuff in the room for her...appreciate your help!
