I just returned from a wonderful week's vacation, but I was disappointed to find that the fridge was not left for me. I know that there had been a problem earlier this month, but I was told that a babysitter had been found for the fridge. I was told to send my confirmation information again, and the person holding it would leave it for me. When we arrived last Saturday, the fridge was not there. I had been on the list for months, paid my money, and I would like to know what happened to it. I had brought several things along that needed refrigeration, and I had to settle for my small ice chest instead. For the next person on the list, be prepared not to have a fridge.

OMgosh I feel so bad for you. That totally sucks for you and everyone else (like me on the list). Worse for you since you paid money towards it.

We left the swap host's name on the fridge and dropped it off at the luggage holding station (same place we picked it up from). We did everything we could to get in touch with the person who was supposed to pick it up after us. I started sending them messages a couple weeks before we left. I never got a response.

It really stinks that the fridge was not there. I would love to know where it went after we dropped it off.

I know that there was a problem finding someone to get it after you. The swap host was worried that we would lose it since it would be in luggage for so long, but she sent me a pm that she had found someone to babysit it and to resend my information to give to them. I sent her another pm before I left to text or call me, but I never heard from her. I'm not sure if the fridge was lost or if the person babysitting it just kept it during my week. I hope it works out for the rest of you.

To let everyone know, theres been some issues over here for me. I was out of town,and ill. My mother is ill. and numerous other things.

For everyone, I am going to try to track down the fridge. I cannot guarantee anything. Sorry. If it is to be found, I am not your mother. Dont PM me askign what to do. Your adults. You can read the rules on the first page that state what to do. Including contacting the person before and after you.

Sorry for the implication,wasn't meant to be but when you don't respond for 4 weeks and then take requests for the fridge out of order once you do get back online it makes peopleon here.

DisneyBlonde has dropped out. She tried the ol she's only letting me use it for 6 days. (I cant help that the block was filled on either side) And she didnt even let me know. She told other people. So theres a space open in September.

Hi I belive I may be first on the waiting list, I had inquired some time ago about those dates, I had asked because she had not been confirmed in red but I was told she in fact wanted the fridge. I'll be there sept 14-19th and would love to have it. I've done several swaps so I know how they go.

DisneyBlonde didn't 'try the ol' anything. I made a request on 7/27. I PMed you twice, posted, and filled out your little web form. You never responded. I made other arrangements.
