Pop Century - would Bell Services hold our bags a day early?

Hey DISers!

Have a weird question...heading to WDW this weekend for a stay at Pop. We were originally flying out early Sunday morning to take DME to Pop to check in/drop off our bags. No thanks to a flight cancellation, although much thanks to Disney for letting us know about our flight cancellation since the unnamed airline didn't even contact us about it, we are now flying in Saturday afternoon. We couldn't find an extra night at Pop for Sat night, so we booked an room at an offsite hotel.

Would we be able to take DME to Pop after our flight on Saturday, drop off our bags at Bell Services, and then check in the next morning? I didn't think so, but if they would do it, then we could just pack a backpack with our clothes/toiletries for Sat night and have to deal with less luggage on our way to the offsite hotel. Has anyone done this or think it might work?

Thanks!

Did you book the airfare as a Disney package? If not, I don’t think Disney will allow you to use DME if you you’re not checking in/out of a Disney resort that day.

What a pain! I would keep on checking the value resorts for an opening. People cancel even at the last minute. I’m wishy washy on my transportation advice. If there are a lot of restaurants near your offsite hotel I would probably just Uber/Lyft. If not, I would rent a car one way from National or Alamo so I could drop it off at the Dolphin or Car Care Center depending on where you’re going in the morning after Pop check in.

Thanks robinb. I think we're out of luck, I just realized DME is tied to your resort reservation, not your flight arrival date/time. Thanks for your advice though.
