POP Century: Which decades are the standard rooms and which are preferred?

We have never stayed at POP before, and we will be there this November. We booked standard rooms and I know that usually means further away from the dining hall, buses, etc. It looks like both the 70's and 50's are kinda in the middle, but are they also considered preferred rooms? Taking that into consideration, what decade should we request a room for if we wanted to be closer to everything? I know that a request isn't guaranteed, but I figure it couldn't hurt.

There are standard rooms in every decade. I prefer the 60's. It's close to everything.

Look for the Pop Century Renovations thread - usually on page one of this forum, rarely dropping to page two.
