For those of you there now...... could you tell me if they offer the Gold Peak White Citrus tea in the food court? I've heard that is is no longer offered since the new Rapid Refill mugs? Thanks for your help!

Someone posted that it was the other day when I asked about drink options for my DS. Actually, I don't think coffee or tea is part of the rapid refill system. It's offered but just not tied to the RR system like the soda machines are. Does that make sense?

Today is the day!!! We leave in 5 hours for Pop! Very excited but a bit nervous after seeing all the issues in the past week. Hopefully the MB-door issues have been resolved. :-)

OMG in 4 days ill be in Disney World!!!! I'm trying to get my house cleaned up and than I need to pack. My niece is staying at my house for the week so my dogs are good. But...did I mention in 4 days ill be in Disney World Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!! :)

We stayed at POP for 2 weeks in Sept, and loved it, the room was clean always, the buses ok, and the magic bands worked great! We had our table service dining plan on the bands with all our ressies and it worked every time. Also we reserved many fast pass plus rides with the band and it worked very well - no problems. It was quite hot though and we tired out after a week but we would go to T.L. to enjoy the water to cool off. The POP food court meals have changed - some are good, some are not but we typically ate at the parks anyway. We were disappointed with Italy's food and cancelled our ressies there for the following week. They seem to have cut the quality and quantity of food there.:surfweb:

Anyone have updates about 90s building? That's where I'd like to stay but want a fridge and new bedding. Would switch to 80s if not. Also does anyone know if there are microwaves for use in the food court?

They are still working on the fridges. And yes, there are microwaves in the food court.

Just checked in - was originally in 70's but they gave me a upgrade to 50's, building 1 YAY! Room was ready when we checked in and there was no issues with the MB opening the door, although we also got KTTW cards just in case.

Still have the old bedding in the room. I asked if there would be a fridge in the room and mentioned the $15 credit if not, and the CM instantly went from friendly to snooty. She said they were no longer doing credits and if there was no fridge, I could try calling for one - got to the room and there is a new fridge here though so not an issue.

Onwards to Epcot!! :goodvibes

4 sleeps until we leave!!!:banana:

I love reading the live reviews! I feel more prepared and ready to go. :thumbsup2

Thanks!! How do you register for a certain building? I went through a travel agent but want to be in 90's. I guess just tell them :). Didn't know if there was a way through MDE.

You can ask your travel agent to add a building/section request to your Disney reservation. It's a request so it's not guaranteed, but there's also a good chance it will be honored.

As an alternative, if you decide to use online check-in there should be a section (not building number) request area during that process. Online check-in is available 60 days prior to your arrival.

Does anyone know....

DH is doing the exotic car experience while we are staying at POP. Do we need to hire a cab to take us there or does Disney have a complimentary service?

I'm so envious! I love trip reports in real time! Could you check on two things for me:

1. What's the distance from the floor to the window ledge (I'm creating window decorations for my December stay).

2. Do they have White Citrus iced tea in the food count? It's the only place I've seen it and I look forward to it every trip!
I'm worried that they got rid of it with the new Rapid Refill System.

Thank you and I hope you continue to have great vacation!!!!

Hi guys! I'll be back at Pop in December, can't wait! Does anyone know if there are refrigerators in the rooms? I know there was a recall, but are they back? Are they in every room or do you have to request them? I'm kind of out of the loop! :rotfl:

Thanks!

:rotfl: This has been a hot topic since I've been following the thread.

The consensus is that Disney is replacing them at POP but is not finished as of yet. I would guess they will be done by the time December rolls around but hard to say if I will get one when we arrive in 4 days!!

My head is spinning. I've had a tension headache for 2 days. Too much to do at home, work and than I need to get stuff together for our Disney trip. I leave Saturday. I'm super excited. I ca not wait to leave. But I have 2 sides to my brain....rational and irrational. The irrational side is the one giving me a headache.
