We have been here since 9/7....staying in the 60s, preferred room....got both requests of king and close to transportation. It's not facing the pool so it's quiet too. Room has been spotless every day. New comforters that are the white sheets that get changed every group. Fridge in room is the old one...note on front... But was already plugged in and cold so we have been using it.

Food court has been okay. Some good meals..spaghetti and roasted chicken to name a couple. But the seating area is not as clean as when we stayed here before.....floor really needs swept more...ice machines don't always work. That is really the only negative things I can say. The new mugs are in use and work fine.

Bus transportation has been great...have only waited more them five minutes once. We have been following the touring plans to figure out what park to go to and that has worked great....most rides we walk right on.

Magic bands are wonderful....no problems at all. So nice to not have to search for a card/key. FP+ has worked great too without issue. We have pulled a couple extra regular fast passes but the lines are so short we have only have to do that to ride rides Toy Story again.

It's been a great week!

I'd love to know if you all have the new bedding when you arrive

44 days until we're at POP. Soooo excited. I was listening to my disney music in the car going to and from work..and no, the kids weren't with me. Lol

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who does that! I was just singing along to the Lion King soundtrack on my way home from the doctor.

Lol! I was humming Its A Small World making dinner tonight!

Just under three weeks now.

A week ago I got an email explaining we have been chosen to participate in MyMagic+

Then today I had the same exact thing delivered express mail via UPS.

Funny thing is I have already done all those things they say to do from Sining in to MyDisneyExperience to the last step of selecting FP+ experiences.

We even recieved our MB over 2 weeks ago and step 3 was to customize our MBs.

Wondering why the left hand does not know what the right is doing???

The same thing happened to us. I guess they expect most people to be last minute planners and not to be like me. I've had our plans down to the half hour for almost 3 months. FP+ did not do anything to curb my excessive planning!

Sounds great! Can you please tell me how you requested the King room and if you did online check in?? My travel agent was supposed to note our request for a King room but I don't know if there's another way to make that request known. We did do online check-in and are hoping that doesn't take away our chances.

Checking in in 10 days!

I'm so excited to hear about the new bedding - that bedspread was so heavy and hot!

I look forward to pics!

I just got back yesterday from a 7 night stay at pop in the 60s building, 4th floor, room 5461. We had the new bedding (yay!) And arrived with an old fridge with the note on front, however, it was plugged in and cold. Outside my room there was sitting a different fridge that was clearly a different model. (Just as a side note, we never received any advanced correspondence, letter or email, about the fridge issue. ) I called the front desk because I had a garden grocer delivery that i had been notified by the store had been delivered but had not made it to the room. I mentioned the fridge with the note was plugged in and they said they would send someone to check it out. Soon afterward a cm delivered my groceries and then asked if I wanted the fridge outside the room. I said sure and he set it up for me leaving the old in its place. The new fridges are of an different dimension and will not fit in the furniture made for the old fridges so this is clearly an issue. The loss of space wasn't a big deal for us though.

We have never been to pop before so came with no preconceived notions or past experiences. Overall we thought it was great and actually found the food to be good. (That said we only had 2 breakfasts, dinners and a random pizza and nachos orders.) The pizzas were the french bread type and were "meh" but everything else was good and our expectations weren't high for the pizza to begin with being. The only other thing I can say is the ice machine at the fountain drinks was very slow to dispense ice. At times we settled for 3 or 4 cubes. Not a big deal.

My son (4 years old) really enjoyed the pool activities and my husband and I enjoyed Petals, although not so much the prices. ;-)

Transportation was ok. We did notice pop was consistently the last or one of the last bus terminals at each park so be prepared to walk!

The gift shop was decent but I found myself wishing there were more opportunities to use last minute snack credits there. (I should have shopped elsewhere. ) I also found the selection of basic souvenirs like magnets kind of lacking so do your shopping in the parks or downtown disney if you can.

This was our first trip to disney and staying at pop and we would definitely consider coming back! Any questions, let me know!

We did do online check-in but I also called Pop (which I dont think you really talk to someone at Pop....I think it is someone in reservations that they transfer you to) and requested a King room via the phone. No guarantees that you will get the King but I figured it was worth the try!

Checked in this afternoon around 4. Magical express was right there waiting when we arrived bonus!! No wait at the check in. Our personalized magic bands were waiting for us. CM gave us a quick overview. We are in the 90's building at the VERY end lol. Seriously, I think we are the last room. We had a bite to eat in the food court. I had a sloppy joe with pasta salad and DH had Mediterranean flatbread. He really enjoyed his and I thought mine was decent. Meat was flavorful. Lines were only bad at cash. We used our MB with no problems whatsoever. Went to DD this evening and had no problems with the bands. Arrived back at 9:30 and went for a swim. Pool is a nice temperature and super relaxing for pregnant lady legs lol. We have an old fridge in our room with the do not use notice. I'll check with some CM tomorrow and see what the status is on all the rooms. We do not have the triple sheet bedding. Found a crumb on my bedspread near the head of my bed but besides that all is clean in our room.

I'm most interested in whether or not you see any signs of life for the new fridges (in rooms or being installed)...and how the food court is. I've heard so many bad reviews lately. We arrive in 37 days. Have an awesome trip!!

We arrived at POP around 2:30 this afternoon. Hardly any lines, check in was quick and painless. I had done online check in but didn't get around to doing it for my mom & bro's room. Even so, it went really well. The CM was great. When we were discussing the movie schedule, she told me I knew better than she did and I could totally do her job! My mom told her that's because I'm obsessed - LOL!!!

Haven't done anything in food court other than get mugs. Very busy but several lines open so it moved quickly. The RFID mugs aren't a big deal to me because I knew what was going on. Others though, that might not be on the Dis, were unaware you had to set the mug down in order to get it to work. I had to explain it to a couple people, my brother included. I can report more on the food court after tomorrow evening's meal.

We are on 3rd floor of 60s, with connecting rooms with my mom & brother. Upon arrival, we both had refrigerators ON in our rooms. No sign on mine but my mom's has one...like I said though, both were on when we got here. Not sure the best way to handle it...use ours since no sign? It does look & smell like a new one?!?

No issues with transportation so far. We went to DTD this evening. Packed going, empty coming home. It is what it is.

As for MB, they're pretty neat. However, as someone else on here has said, you do have to match up the Mickey heads. I've found this to be a little challenging, getting your hand/arm to twist the right way to open your room door.

If any questions, feel free to ask. I'd really like to do a trip report if I could figure out how! We're here 5 nights with 4 park days. Leave Tuesday. Time for bed! We have CRT pre-opening ADRs in the morning with a late night for the Villains party, too! I'm beyond beat from our day of traveling!!

Have fun!!

Do you have the new bedding...triple sheeting instead of the heavy comforters?

Just got back last night from a 9 day stay at Pop.
*Had a fridge with a note on it...it was plugged in so we went ahead and used it
*Had the old heavy bedding..asked for a box fan so all was good.
*Never waited more than 20 minutes for buses OR rides!!
*Ordered water from Amazon and it was delivered for free.
*I read someone posted about he egg roll sandwich thingy being gross...and I agree 100%....nastiest "food" ever!!
*My whole family actually preferred AOA food court.
*I haven't really seen anyone complain about the MB's, but I have 1 complaint..and it could be just because we weren't doing it right. I felt like we didn't really have a chance to see all the parks had to offer because we were busy going all over trying to make our fp+ times. If I had to do it all over again (we should have learned a few days into it)......I would set my fp selections up for later in the day so we could just enjoy roaming around before going crazy!! I know you can change them, but we just had a difficult time trying to organize it all. I will say they worked AMAZING for Fantasmic. We showed up 10 minutes before the show started and were able to sit on the very front row!! It was kind of frustrating when we would show up to a ride and be excited to use our fp only to realize there was only a 5 minute wait. I know...I know....trust me we were very happy that lines were so fast!!
*We were very pleased with EVERYTHING about POP!!

Wow....long day tomorrow! Enjoy the villains! pirate:

DD is hanging back at the resort with my mom tonight. DH and Brother are heading to DTD to watch Insidious 2 (bro is a huge horror fan) then we're meeting up at HS for Villains. We'll be coming back late afternoon so I'm hoping to get in a couple of rest before we do Part 2!
