Next week at this time, I will really be freaking out. Had a nightmare the other night that I forgot to pack several things and take my tickets to the airport.

13 more sleeps at home then I will check in to Pop on the 24th

I just called the POP front desk and asked a few questions.

I was told that the fridges are currently getting switched out at POP and that I should have one by my trip starting Oct 1

She said I can also have bottled water delivered up to one week before our trip. I heard Staples is a good place to order it from. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to deliver?

Great to hear about the fridge. We are leaving Oct. 19th, and I was going to take our small one like we used to do.
On another note....Has anyone ever done the Hustle with the CMs? I watched one evening and was dying to jump in! The kids said we ought to practice and join in this time!

Yay for the fridges and thank very much for the update. We are arriving on Nov 4th so I'm hoping that we have a fridge by then. Since we are there for 9 nights, I might consider ordering water, milk and some other stuff.

Most people here talk about ordering from Garden Grocer. I read somewhere about someone ordering from Amazon and using their prime membership for free shipping. If you get info on Staples, can you please update us on delivery price and timing. Thanks

Staples site says free shipping on orders over 20 bucks right now. It's pretty easy just to spend that on water and a few snacks

We are checking in Wednesday. I am not sure when I should order our water from amazon. We are prime members so get 2 day free shipping , Yes I know if I order Monday it will be delivered Wednesday. So will I actually receive it Wednesday? If I order Friday and it delivers Monday does the POP just hold it? Sorry for so many questions, we have never had anything delivered to a resort before.

I believe the resort will hold packages for 7-10 days before your arrival. See the 'sticky' about sending packages to a resort. There are tips about how to address the package, including using the correct street address for delivery. If I were you, I would go ahead and order since you are so close to check-in. It's not too early to do so. :)

I called and it was delivered the next day to POFQ. They held it for me until I got there.

Wondering the same thing, and wondering what the movies are.

I am not sure if they start the movies at a different time than 8:30pm, but I suspect they keep it the same. I can tell you the October movie schedule will be available right on October 1.

You got some good info, but the word is that any external calls to the front desk (for Pop, 407-938-4000) of a resort actually are routed to a call center. If it's an emergency you'll be connected with someone at the resort itself.

At the airport and will be in Disney in a few short hours. If anyone has any questions they'd like answered let me know and I'll try my best to get answers. POP here we come!

I'm most interested in whether or not you see any signs of life for the new fridges (in rooms or being installed)...and how the food court is. I've heard so many bad reviews lately. We arrive in 37 days. Have an awesome trip!!

Enjoy your stay. We arrive on Nov 4th.

I too would be interested in the fridge status.

Also, there's been a lot of discussion surrounding whether Nov arrivals such as myself will get to use MagicBands or not. Would you be able to chat up a few CM's to get their take on this subject?

Thanks

Just got back...was a wonderful stay. Our housekeeper Vito was awesome..no towel animals..but very clean and nice notes on our pillows. We were in 50s, lake view, 3rd floor..was very quiet and still very close to transportation and more importantly the kiddie pool where we spent most of our time. Beds were comfy too!

The cafeteria was nothing special but we did find a few good finds...(for the record, AoA cafeteria wasn't much better..so no big deal).

Overall, staff were all very pleasant and eager to please with a few exceptions.

We had a fridge for my toddler's milk per my request..but shared it with my mother who was in a connecting room and without a fridge.
