Pop Century to World Showcase (Epcot)

We are thinking about starting our day at Epcot with breakfast in the France pavilion. Would it make more sense to enter Epcot from the Boardwalk area? If so, what is the easiest way to do that from Pop Century?

The easiest way would be to take a taxi to the Beach Club then walk to the International Gateway Epcot entrance.

I know you aren't asking this, but remember that World Showcase opens later (usually around 11am) than Future World so you should double check park times and your dining choices. I believe the bakery in France will be open for breakfast but that's about it (except for Akershus in Norway), so be sure to double check all the times and venues.

Would it make more sense to enter Epcot from the Boardwalk area?

No, not really. Just take the bus from CR and you will be fine. It is not worth the cost of a cab.

From France to the front of Beach Club is about a half mile walk. It's about .75 mi from the bus drop off to France from the front of the park.

Just take the bus to Epcot and walk through the park.

I contemplated this very thing last trip and ended up bussing to EPCOT: the stroll around WS back to France was lovely. With no other people around it was my own private park.
