Pop century refurbishing

We are planning to stay at pop century in July. According to
What everyone says on this board, refurbishing will be going on but when I went to book the room, the cm said all refurbishing will be completed by this may. I called back to get other cast members and they all say the same thing, that refurbishing will be done. So confused as what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

It won't be done by this May. Permits don't expire until 2018.

We`ve been during refurb`s before. They only do sections at a time i.e it could be a walkway somewhere or section of a building on other side of resort...you may not even see what they are working on, don`t worry.

They are wrong.
Black and white commencement permit filed in November with completion date April 2018.
Start was delayed so it actually could go past that if they choose to file an amendment.
By July they wouldn't even be halfway done.

Room rehabs do little to impact a hotel stay.
The do the work in blocks of rooms in a building.
You may actually stay and have no idea they are working.
A few weeks out from your stay ask here where they are working,
then put in a room request in a building away from it.

Remember, most phone CMs don't know anything other than what is on their computer to book. Many don't live in Orlando and have never even been to Disney World. Many don't follow any of the Disney updates and news as they would do that on their own time. Your best source for info is in places like here where folks follow closely, visit regularly and keep close tabs on all.

I agree with this. If it's just room refurb you won't even notice, so don't worry about it.
