We're (dh, dd 20, dd17) going to be at PC in late August. I'm getting worried about the AC sensors. Any tips from people who have stayed there? I look forward to coming back to a cool room for an afternoon rest. What about at night - are the rooms warm?? Can you override the sensors?

Thanks!

eily,
What do you mean by sensors? We are going late August to Pop also.

the resort like BCV has automatic temperature control - if you aren't in the room it turns down - when you are it turns up.

you can do what I did - before you leave set the control at the warmest (I think it is 72 degrees) - then after you return from the parks set it to the coldest 68 degrees - then go get your mug refillable at the food court - when you get back to your room it will be pretty cold.

The sensor things never really affected us. The only thing I noticed was that you couldn't put the thermostat way down. I kind of liked this because I didn't freeze as usual (family likes it too cold). Even DH did not complain!

Just back from the Pop Sunday and the room was cool (cold) when we arrived back every time.

Whenever we returned, the thermostat was set on 68. Nice and cold.

Our room always felt like it was the exact same temperature as we left it. We never touched the thermostat while we were there.
