Hello

At the mouse right now. Earlier this week we had to pay for an internet connection, even asked the front desk and they said they didn't have it yet... but late last night, we realized that we can now go on wireless :thumbsup2

We're in the 80's section... No Frig here yet, hope they're here by the time you arrive :thumbsup2

A lady on the long thread about the fridges, noted her parents were in POP last week and they rented a fridge. A few days later, the front desk called, asked them to clear it out so they could modify the entertainment center to install a fridge.

They were re-imbursed for the remainder of the week for the rental. She didn't say whether it was a half size or dorm size though - we admonished her for not pumping them to more info or getting a pic!;)

Hi Everyone! This is my first post, but I've been reading a lot of the great information for several weeks. My DH, DD (12yo) and I are making a very quick stop at WDW en route to St. Pete Beach in mid-April. We will be spending two nights at POP (a resort that I chose based on all the valuable input from this board).

My question: is the wireless free?

Thanks for everyone's helpful advice! :)

I'm just curious, did the wi-fi note that it was Disney? Sometimes my iPhone, iPad, or whatever will pick up different Wi-Fi Networks that are available and use that network even if I have my own mi-fi in the settings. It's great if Disney really has wi-fi for Pop. We'll be there at the end of the month.

Wow that is great news my DH has been wanting to take his Ipad along for the evenings.

Yes, it is on Disney property; Disney ran all the wiring late last year for all of the moderates and deluxes as of last December.

They pulled another permit about two weeks ago, to "enhance the existing system", but there was never mention of doing it at the values.

With the fridges, this is good news.

Absolutely. We're going during the Easter high season, so no discounts. But, with the refrigerators going in and now complimentary wi-fi, I feel like I just got a $20 per night discount!

That's awesome!! :woohoo: We're going in May and I'm so glad we'll finally be able to have WiFi! That will make DH very happy.

But this is the first time I've heard about the fridges!!! We've always rented fridges in the past but I hate having to put that in my budget. Since we're taking an extended trip this year, I was dreading paying $100 for the 10 days I'd need it. So this is definitely good news. $100 for more souvenirs now! :thumbsup2
