I agree, walking around DW with just your room key with your meals and tickets included is a wonderful feeling. The only thing I would change is to make it a bracelet so we would not have to worry about losing it or hunting for it in a wallet or pocket.

Having to carry cash or deal with a debit/credit card just for tips is a big pain, for us and the waitstaff. I am thinking they will reconsider that decision.

Kelli posted who was bringing stuff on the first page - of this thread - some have mentioned they will bring snacks, others have said they'll use their snack credits to get munchies in the Pop food court...

I've been reading the dvc boards and garden grocers has been getting negative dis ratings -wegoshop has been getting higher customer satisfaction!

I'm just going to UPS a box of stuff to me - a week before (UPS is cheaper, and they deliver to resorts, the us post office freaks out at the address apparently!)

I'm going to DW next week It feels so good to finally say that. I'm close enough where I can start checking the 10 day weather forecast.

SG - You're soooo lucky to be able to leave this week. The rest of us will be close behind you. Are you going to the Mojito party as well?

The BB program sounds great and we'll probably book another trip when we get there. I've been playing around with some numbers to see if I'll be able to go. I'll probably just go ahead and book it and if something comes up, I can just cancel it.

I am bringing a bag of books and coloring books since I could not think of anything else. Not sure how many kids will show up but it might be something they might like. I am certain that we do not need any more FOOD!!!

Linda - Make some blank books too!! Just take the computer/blank paper, about 5 sheets, fold in half and staple - viola - a homemade book!!

DD loves to make her own books to read to others!! We always pack that and colored pencils...

and the journal pages!!

I am so happy that I am going to get to meet you all Doctor said that my brain is normal but I am wired differently then others I was born without the main artery that supplies the blood to the back of my brain BUT my body compensated for it over the years and made its own path Where there is a will there's a way . I do have some guide lines that I have to follow.. I have to wear a hat in direct sun . And no Roller Coasters... I can live with that

I will be flying to the University of Min. after vactions for more extensive testing..

Keli~I am sooooo happy to get to meet you. I've been really busy the past couple days so I haven't had a chance to get on & check on you, but I've been thinking about you.

I probably won't be on the computer much this week, but I am getting ready for the trip & really looking forward to seeing all of you.

keliblue, I am borrowing Bonz for a parade while we are there. Since she is a fellow Hoosier I figured it was the least I could do for the poor thing. I will gladly give her a hug. Will you not be there when she is? `Nope, just checked and she leaves just before you get there. Tell you what, I will give her a hug from you and when I see you I will give you one from her. How about that?? Did I send you my details so you can reach me if need be? I have done so often that I no longer remember who I did and did not give it too. I am usually more organized but I just am plain wore out.

When I booked this trip I took into account that there might possibly be yet another free dining package next year so I planned it late in the cycle so I could use our AP's again. One less BIG expense!!

but to me, its still FREE!! I know, no appy, tipping OOP, rack rates, but I'm just enough of a sucker to lock in on that word FREE!! We can split an appitizer if we want one and we always left some cash for a tip anyway. I'm booking as soon as I get there, I'll sort the details later.

im curious to know how they will work the tip now that its not included for 2008. i know that it should be 18% but you think if its actually left to people I think some of the waiters/waitress will get shafted if people dont leave it or not enough when it was included there was no thought.

Not that im not a good tipper I usually leave 20% but I like the dinning plan so I didnt have to worry about tax tip or what not and carry around cash... I live on my debit card.

I feel the same way.. it was so nice not to have to deal with anything

Sounds good to me. I think my kids will be out of school that week. I printed off next years school calendar, but it's at work. I don't think we'll be able to stay a whole week, but even if it's 4 days, it's better than being at work stuck behind a desk all day.

The days are dwindling down to a precious few gals!

keliblue, good idea about the bounceback redux but our AP's would have to be renewed. I am planning a 12 day trip to take advantage of those last precious days before mine wears out. Might make it two weeks and just be parkless the last two days.

I am glad you can reccomend Bonz cause frankly I am a bit worried about her. Come to think of it your reccomendation is no good either for the same reason. I always mistrust folks who have really bad taste in liking ME!!

My agenda is finally truly final, printed out and sent to all who care and a few who might not but then I do not care either.

Art supplies, i.e. blank paper and blunt scissors (just in case any of YOU want to play too) (grin) added to my bag of 'toys'.

Good night. Tuesday is my day for taking Tom bowling etc. so I may not be back until Wednesday and since that is my last day I have available to pack maybe not then. Who knows? Not even the shadow.

I got a lot of things done in the house. Shampooed the carpet in the LR, and both boys BR. I also got around to shredding a lot of papers. Still a little bit more work left to do, but at least I got the bulk of it done. Oh yeah, I also took my cat to get her shots. Poor kitty was so sore all day Sun she didn't eat or drink anything nor did she use the litter box. Yesterday she started coming around again.
