I'm going to call in my final payment (yipee!!) in a few days and want to make my room requests then. I'm thinking lake view, 50's or 70's, high floor. Don't want to face a pool and I'm thinking a higher floor will have no noise from above! Any of you experts have a opinion here?

Oh Jenni, I am SO glad my 1 yo isn't the only one still waking up 4-5 times a night!

You too?! I swear I just thought it was my children who don't like to sleep at night :sad2: It's partially my fault too...I just don't have the heart to let my baby cry it out soo I guess I'll just continue to walk around in my sleep deprived state and slightlygoofy you say it gets worse when they're teens :scared1:
Oh well, sleep is overrated anyway :)

ummm MickeyMCH - my TEN year old is still getting up at night!! :scared1:

Sometimes she has "night terrors" sometimes she sleepwalks...

I do know how you feel about talking to yourself!! But you really arent here!!

Oh my! Now I wonder about all those moms in my kids classes who say their kids have been sleeping through the night since they were 6 weeks old!

The night terrors must be frightening for your dd...does she remember them in the morning?

I saw Becky's post about Hunter almost walking...9 months....my DS is 14.5 months and not even close! Anyone else experience this? He just barely started pulling up...he can't walk yet even hanging on, he is just standing. I was hoping he would be walking for our trip, but now I am not so sure, and he will be 16 months...we will definietly have a stroller, but I did not anticipate having to carry him in line and other times...he is 28 lbs and 35 inches :scared1:

I know how you feel, Ava is 13 months old and still not walking AND she has a mom who is a physical therapist :rolleyes1 :guilty:
She uses the furniture to cruise sideways but she doesn't look like she's anywhere close to taking independent steps. I was hoping she would be walking before our vacation, too! It's soo hard not to compare your own child to other children, even though I know she's still completely within the normal range for walking, just like your ds! :goodvibes

mickeymouseclubhouse, I remember those days of wishing my children would turn into teens and be able to do things for themselves. In my experience they need you more then and resent you more and you get no sleep at all. Babies take many naps. Teens generally do not unless they are sleeping ALL the time and then you stay awake worrying about THAT! Maybe the reason no one is around when you are is that you are too cool for us and we are intimidated???

SG

SG: I really am not looking forward to my girls growing up, much less being teenagers :scared:, I would just love to get more than two hours of uninterrupted sleep sometime :rotfl: I know what you mean though, the worrying never ends, but we all know we wouldn't have it any other way

Wow, I've had a lot of catching up to do...my internet service was down yesterday from 2pm on, we had to buy a new modem and install it, and then I worked all day today. This is my first chance to get on here and I've been having some serious DIS withdrawal! :) It feels good to catch up on everything. Now, I've got to get over to the Boutique board and see all the cute outfits I've been missing out on!

Hello, everyone! Happy Monday :thumbsup2

SlightlyGoofy - I have not been to the Star Wars weekends yet, but I think DH would Love them! I keep trying to convince him :thumbsup2 The Con I'm going to is DragonCon and there are over 40,000 people each year. There are lots of Kligons, Pirates pirate: , elves, witches, etc there every year. It is a blast. I'm looking forward this year to seeing the Weasley twins (again!) and LORI PETTY who I just   I'm even going to attempt a Tank Girl costume even though I'm not really at all Tank Girl's figure :cool2: I'm almost as exited about the Con as I am about Disney

BTW, everyone's itinerary's look great!! I'm jealous of those of you getting to stay longer than me though.

I will try to get my itinerary up sometime this week. The 24th is our AK day, but we will have the evening free. So, I'm trying to work out for us to come over to MGM. SO we may be joining the Fantasmic group and if so I'm all about some TOT & RnR afterwards!!:cool1:

Sarah, we are doing the same thing as you on these two days  :woohoo:

21st -
monorails to Epcot for PM EMH (we will be here watching Illuminations)

22nd - Sleep in
Chef Mickey's for brunch
DTD for shopping (we will be shopping & swimming before the party:banana: )
back to Pop for swimming, laundry and Glow party

What time are you at Chef Mickey's? We're there at 10:40 am, I think. I asked for a late seating so we could sleep a little. We'll probably still leave Pop at 9:30 or so, but that's late for us. LOL

We'll be at World of Disney, Goofy's candy, and, most importantly to my ds11, LEGO. LOL
We'll be a mom, dad, grandma and 7 kids in matching shirt. It's our first visit to DTD, and we are excited. We never wanted to sacrifice park time before, but we are staying longer this time with the intention of doing all the stuff we never have time to do. :goodvibes

If you see us, say hi! :)

oooh, I forgot to say, I finally have matching shirts for everyone for everyday.

I am only packing for 4 days, and will have to do laundry, but with 9 people, I am not hauling a week's worth of clothes X 9. :laundy:

So, we have Turquoise Mickey shirts.
(Daddy has a plain turquoise shirt, as he is too cool for school and can't be seen in a Mickey shirt. :sad2: )
I found a cute turquoise sleveless polo for dd1, as the Disney shopping shirts run WAY too large for her. Sigh.

Red homeschool group shirts (and Grandma may or may not have a red shirt on.) Baby has a plain red shirt.

White and grey shirts.
The two little girls have white Disney princess shirts with a rainbow and sparklies.
I found a white shirt for dd1 today that says "ocean princess" and has an Ariel like mermaid on it.
DD13 has a tink shirt with rhinestones and I have a similar Eyeore shirt. (He's my fav!)
The boys have grey Buzz lightyear shirts.
Daddy has a plain grey shirt.
(Can you tell Disneyshopping is loving me? LOL)

And, last but not least, various shades of orange shirts.
I couldn't justify spending any more $$$$, so I decided to work with what we had.
Only had to get a couple of cheap orange shirts to have one for everyone.

Can you tell I feel so much better now?
Most of them are washed and in the Disney packing box. Sigh.

So glad I can openly share all that among people who understand.
