I have more than my fair share of questions to ask of you… I have reservations at POP for six nights, and tickets for seven days. I have never stayed on-site (unless you count cruises!) I have no idea what to expect. I was told that I can go to POP as early as I want, get my room key and then go to the parks all day. The rest of the details are sketchy to me…

1. What will Disney mail me to show my reservations?
2. Will the room keys be used as tickets for admissions?

Any other advice on what to expect from Disney resorts are helpful!

Hi Kevin,
For answering the first question you first have to tell us where you made your reservations...
and yes, your room key will be your admission pass as well.
You can arrive as early as you want at the Pop Century Resort but probably they wouldn't have a room for you. You can go to the parks and arrive later to move in your room.
I have been at PC several times, so if you have any questions feel free to ask. But don't forget there is a search button on this board as well, and there is already lots of info here about Pop Century.
Have a wonderfull vacation!

Reserved from CRO, (just curious, does the other office do anything "different"?) The girl at CRO didn't seem so sure as to what I was getting!

If you booked through Disney you will be mailed a confirmation with the resort name, number of nights, guests names, etc.
You can check in to any Disney resort as soon as you arrive regardless of the time. Sometimes rooms are available early, which is great. A lot of times they are not ready so Disney will store your luggage and give you all your paperwork and room keys. They will give you a phone number to call later to see if your room is ready.
If you bought your park tickets through Disney or will purchase them at your front desk they will encode these on to your room keys. You will also be asked if you want to use your room key for charging privileges. If you accept they will take a credit card from you and encode the information into their computer system. You will then be able to charge just about everything in WDW to your room key (some of the carts may not have the telephone connections yet to take a charge). We always take this option since we can then carry around very little cash. With the charge option you can ask for a print out from your front desk at any time to track your charges. At check out they will give you a complete listing. For the value resorts Disney will process the charges through your credit card company everytime you reach $500.00.

I booked my trip through American Airlines so the confirmation came through them.

Enjoy your stay at POP! I loved it! :)
