POP Before the Christmas Rush-Who's with me!?

I think a DIS meet from this thread would be really cool!

I had a brain storm the other day so my Mom and I are going to make Mickey heads for our window. She found some small Christmas print fabric and she made a Mickey head pattern. We are going to sew the Mickey heads, stuff them with poly fill, add a loop at the top and Voila! A Mickey head Christmas decoration. We are going to buy the small suction cup hooks for the windows and hang them. I have snowflake window clings we are going to use too. I also plan on having atleast one lime green Mickey head on there somewhere. I haven't decide if I will have a paper on my door for signitures yet. I'm not quite sure how to make that.

Talking about this gets me all excited again about our trip. That's probably why I'm on the DIS all the time!

For me the DIS equals instant excitement!

The dollor stores have those magnetic dry erase boards with all kinds of disney characters on them. I bought a few and just stuck them to the outside of the door. Every night when we returned we read the messages people left us.

Just some dorky fun, but the kids would run to the door every evening after the parks.

That's a cool sounding decoration.

If you bring lights, remember an extension cord cause sometimes the plug isn't always under the window.

Do you know which ones had them? We went to Dollar Tree last week (had to stock up on my light-up bracelets) and I didn't notice them. I wasn't looking for them either, but anyways...

Dollar General maybe? They were on spinny racks in the front of the stores as you walk in. They just screamed out at me as I came in.

I need to go get some more too.

We will be staying at POP 12/5 - 12/14. This will be our (me, dd 14 , dd11 ) first time ever to WDW. DH has been before when he was younger. We will also be going with grandma, grandpa, SIL, BIL, neice 11 , neice 9 and nephew 7 . They have all been many times before. We are so excited and have loved reading these posts DAILY!!! I have gotten so many fun ideas to try out when we get there. Counting down the days

We are traveling with our friends and their children and it is their very first visit to WDW.

We go crazy decorating our doors on DCL, so I am sure we will do our doors or windows. Plus we are already looking at shirt designs for the party. On the last cruise there were 10 of us, and we dressed alike 6 out of 7 nights! We are a crazy group.

Allright! Fellow POPers! We (Me, DH, DS10, DS7, DMom, DDad) will be at POP from Dec 7th-Dec 14th. This will be our 2nd time at POP in December (went in 2006). I love everything Christmas! Being able to hear Christmas music throughout POP is so awesome! I'm really excited! Can you tell?

I've made all our ADRs for our trip. We are using the Dining Plan.

AWESOME!!!! You will be there for some of the days we will be there..a meet would be cool...we have done DIS meets on the cruise, but never at WDW

So that being said,
Let me introduce you all to the Cruisin Clowns who are now taking over the world!! LOL

I am Beth(40 something..lol.. just had a bday) Dh is Rick, and on this trip with is DS (10). Not joining us are 2 DS who are in college in different states and a DD and DSinlaw who are currently stationed in Alaska.

I have been going to WDW since I was in 7th grade(ages ago) and we are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversay while we are there. We have been on 4 Disney cruises, the most recent was back in Jan. We had our honeymoon at Disneyland( complete with 2 kids, what fun..lol), so we are keeping up the Disney tradition. All though DH would rather go to Vegas.

The rest of the clowns are our best friends (disser JCSwife) and their adult children. This will be the first trip to WDW for all 4 of them.

So, now that I have bored you, anyone else want to share?

Hi, I'm Monica and I'm 37. DH is 46.

I have 4 children. DS 12, DS 10, DD4, DD1.

Married 13 years.


This is our family's 5th trip to WDW, the 4th we haven't even taken yet. It's a surprise trip for the kids at the end of August. Just a short mini trip with FREE dining.


I was so lucky to receive a 40% code for our december trip. So, of course we had to spend the extra money we saved to go back.

My mom always goes to WDW with us. Except, not the August trip. That's a first.

I love planning things. My reunions, I manage a fridge swap, disney trips, and others if they let me.

I would love to put together a meet.

So, hop on and get to know eachother and lets add some extra magic to our lives.

My DH was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer in June, and he's already had his kidney removed and is on the mend. Life is so sweet and precious and I have a new outlook on things, so I'm a little motivated to just have as much fun as we can.

The kids are always looking for others to swim with back at the pool and hang out with, so this might be the place to set some things up. You never know.

I'd love to arrange an evening get together and I could bring glow necklaces and I think there's an area outside we can do this. I know around back you can see some of Illuminations. Just some thoughts.

We could try to request the same building or at least make a point to hang by the pool some. I know we are.


I think watching the kids swim and adults talking a bit is nice too.

Hello!

My name is Stefanee and I'm 35. My DH is 38.

I have 2 kids; DS10 and DS7.

I'll have been married for 14 years on September 24th.

This will be our families 2nd trip to WDW and the 2nd time we are going in December (the 1st time was in 2006). In 2006, it was me, DH, DS9(at the time), DS5(at the time), DMom and DNephew10(at the time). This trip will be me, DH, DS10, DS7, DMom and DDad (Just a side note: My Dad HATES crowds! Nothing would make him happier then moving to Northen Maine where there are more moose and deer then people. Not sure how he'll do!)

I also received a 40% of code. We had plans to go anyways so this was just a great bonus!

I would love to have a meet! The evening would be a great time for us. On our first trip we discovered that we liked getting to the parks for rope drop and then spending the time after dinner back at the hotel. Hopefully we can arrange something to fit all our schedules.

I'm getting excited again!
