Sorry I haven't updated this thing in a while. It was a crazy busy week last week and this weekend. After tomorrow I should have more time and will update! Thanks for sticking with me!

Great Photopass pics Michelle! I like the HM one. I'd heard about it, but had never seen it. Cool! Those pumpkin headbands really stand out!

Yeah - the pumpkin headbands look like they lit up - but they didn't. Just wait till our pictures NEXT WEEK with our light-up antlers!

What fun pictures! I am glad that you have those. It was bitter sweet seeing your poor lonely camera that is lost.
Sam made a beautiful Jasmin. It was great that you got pictures with the characters too! We missed the headless horseman last year. I am pretty sure he wasn't out because it had been raining for most of the night. Even with rain, MNSSHP was a blast! I'm going to have to PM you for your special fireworks spot. I love to try new spots!

Today was our Epcot day. The plan was for my mom, Sam and I to head to Epcot in the morning to have breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and do what we wanted to in Future World. My dad would be coming up this afternoon and we were planning to go back to Epcot for Food and Wine Festival that evening. I was up around 7 am and mom and Sam were sound asleep. I got ready and tried to make some noise to get them going. Finally they got up and ready. I wanted to get to Epcot for rope drop so we would have time to either ride or fast pass Soarin’ and Test Track before our breakfast reservation at 10:20. But, rope drop wasn’t in the cards for us today.

I don’t remember what time we got to the bus stop but I know we got on a bus fairly quickly even though there were a lot of people. My mom and Sam found a seat in the front and I went to the back to stand. I met two really nice families from Tennessee. They were new to WDW and studying the Epcot map trying to plan their day. I was able to answer a lot of questions for them and help them plan their day which was a lot of fun!

A couple of photopass pics from the morning (they aren't the best - we got better ones in the evening):

We got to Epcot I think around 9:30. The plan was for me to go to Soarin’ to get us fast passes for later and then I would meet my mom and Sam at Test Track. We were hoping the wait would be minimal and we could ride before breakfast. I enjoyed walking by myself to The Land pavilion. Much easier to maneuver through the crowds with just yourself! I got the Soarin’ fast passes and made my way across to Test Track. The standby posted wait time was 20 minutes so we decided to just head over to Norway and not take a chance. It was nice to walk through a portion of World Showcase without the crowds. We stopped and took a few pictures along the way.

We really enjoyed our Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway! They had a buffet of fruits, pastries and biscuits and then they brought a big plate of eggs, bacon, sausage and a yummy potato casserole to the table. Everything was really great! Sam is a picky eater but loves breakfast foods so this was a great choice for us. With a later breakfast today we figured we’d be nice and hungry for the F&WF later in the day. Sam enjoyed seeing all the princesses as they came to our table. We saw Belle when we came in and then at our table we saw Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine and Mulan. For some reason my mom didn’t take a picture of Mulan though.

After our wonderful breakfast we walked back to Future World. Samantha was ready to try Mission: Space – the green version anyway. I tried to explain to her best I could what to expect. She started freaking out a bit with all the warnings they keep giving. I told her not to worry about them – she would be fine. I remember the first time I rode (orange side) I was a bit freaked out by all the warnings. I guess they have to have them for liability purposes but man, they make you rethink riding right up to the last minute. Sam started crying as soon as we got in our spaceship. Not wailing, but silently crying. I felt bad but there was nothing I could do at that point. When we got off she said she liked it but the warnings had scared her. She said she would ride again but not today.

Sam and I then decided to take Grandma to Club Cool – she had never been. My mom and Sam had fun trying the Coke’s from around the world. I had a GREAT picture of my mom tasting the Beverly! We spent some time in there until it was time for our Soarin’ fast pass to be used.

My mom’s favorite ride is Soarin’ so this was definitely a must do. We had a great flight as always. After Soarin’ we decided to split up – my mom wanted to see Circle of Life and Sam and I had to Journey into Imagination with Figment! We both love that purple guy!

We met back at Test Track so we could get fast passes for later. I knew my dad would want to ride this one too. We must have gotten fast passes for this earlier in the day too (maybe on our way to Mission: Space) because we ended up with six when we left.

My dad had called and said he was at the resort so we decided to head back for a while.

We found my dad at the Petals pool bar when we got back to POP. He had made friends with the bartender and introduced us. The guy said he had been with Disney for almost 20 years! He didn’t look much older than me. He used to work at Pleasure Island and when they closed he transferred here. I told him I would love to work at Disney and he said it wasn’t as great as it sounds. I didn’t want to hear that – keep my fantasy alive!

Sam had a new ritual on this trip. She liked to walk by herself from Classic Hall to our room (we weren’t too far behind), let herself in and sit in the window waiting for us. She thought she was pretty cool going to the room all alone.

When we got to the room we saw Sam’s teddy bear on the bed with her candy from MNSSHP spread all around him as if he’d been eating it!

We decided to go to the food court to get a small bite to eat to hold us over. I knew Sam wouldn’t eat much at F&WF so she got a pizza and my mom and I each got a kids meal of some sort. We relaxed a bit in the room with my dad and then freshened up for our evening at Epcot.

I about busted a gut at the picture of your dad with the mask and headband on! So funny! I'm sure he appreciates that being on the internet!

It sounds like a great morning! We really enjoyed the Princess Bkfast when we did it last year! How can you screw up breakfast, right?

That's great that she rode Mission Space! I've never done it! Should I try it in a week? I don't know.... I sure do love Soarin though!

Nah - I won't forget you guys! Just may be a little slower with the updates since December is such a crazy month! You should definitely do the princess breakfast - such a great way to see the princesses, get pictures and have a good meal too!
