I'm really sorry that your trip to DLRP was a bust. I think it may have had something to do with the time of year. And WDW can really spoil you. When I was there, I too found the layout to be confusing sometimes and got turned around a lot.

MNSSHP is fun isn't it? Did you go trick or treating? I hope you did, we found it to be a lot of fun and my pupils LOVED the candy they got!

That was an awesome, massive update! I love your night at MNSSHP especially! You really got some fantastic pictures, Tarzan, all 7 dwarfs, the Old Hag??!?! I had no idea! And all the special effect shots are so cool! I'm super jealous and definitely have some picture goals fro my upcoming trip!!

We were still chatting to the people behind us at that point, can you tell I was cold Still can't get used to air con.

It was a shame that it wasn't what we thought it to be, but we have satisfied our craving for now and who knows maybe another trip will be on the far far horizon (and at a time when we know it will defo be quiet).

I think we might have got some treats on the first night, but we weren't really focusing on the parades and stuff like that. The next night we got a really big haul. Not sure if we took a pic, will have to check

It took forever for the old hag to come out though, I was following a schedule someone had made up already and just adjusting it here and there. It's funny that CM's don't have the same information to hand, too many times we were told go somewhere else but, we got it in the end

Morning All

Meant to post this last night, but was too wiped from that huge update

Got some news for our trip this year We finally booked and paid for our cruise on the Dream. We will be staying three nights concierge level on the 12th deck!!! Hope its not too rocky up there, but the CM I spoke to (who had just come back from a three nighter himself) said that the stabilisers on the ship are huge, like aeroplane wings. So unless you are on really choppy water you shouldn't really feel it.

We are so excited for this trip. Have been reading some of the reports from people who have been on the first few trips and from their photos the ship really does look like a Dream. we can't wait to step into the atrium and be awed by the gorgeous chandelier.

On the land front of the trip, we had originally booked 7 nights at the Poly. But after going through a rough guide of where and when we decided that 7 nights was not long enough for us, considering we fly 9hrs to get there and we want to spend more than one day in MK and Epcot. We decided to extend the trip by three nights and we are now staying ten glorious nights at the Polynesian from the 18th til 28th September.

Any of you wonderful Disers going to be there at this time? Would be awesome to do a meet

Anywho, better get going to work.

Yeah, 10 nights at the Poly instead of 7!!! Very good decision! I am so happy for both of you!!

You would have to run into really choppy waters to feel the ship roll, Stefy. You might feel it moving, but it is NOT bad at all! It just adds to the "at sea" feel!

That day in DHS, we were queuing for Woody originally which Stef was pleased about, I preferred Buzz so I could show him my picture so, I was very happy when we finally got round the corner to see they had switched out Like Stef said, you get to tell a story with some of the photopass photos. He was really cool and we had a decent amount of time interacting with him that we will remember for a long time

Our mission with this halloween party was to get as many character photos and special photo ops as possible. I am very glad that the hitch hiking ghosts one came out ok because of that kid hitting the camera before it was our turn. You could tell the CM was angry

Loved the lady sitting on the bench outside The Haunted Mansion, she was very very funny and people were loving her. Never saw her before in 07 so I hope she stays round for a long time

I can't wait for this years trip to come around, it is going to be so amazing going on the Dream, Meeting Joe and Sophia, staying at the Poly and trying new restaurants!

It was a thread on the theme parks board back in September/October and the lady who owned the WDW Character Hunt website posted a schedule from when she attended last year. Sadly her site was taken down for some reason and I can't find the thread again. I will check through my emails and documents at work as I might still have it. Then if I find it, I will use it to bribe you to come down to WDW earlier

I'm so jealous you guys! I want a PM when you start that Dismoon Trip report!!!! This last update was awesome. I love the photopass pictures with the special effects. When we bought the CD last year, we had a hard time finding anyone who knew how to take those pictures but you two scored a bunch! Looking forward to see some more pictures soon! Wowser great update!!!

so many character photos between hollywood studios and the halloween party, I;ve never seen a photo of any of the dwarves that I can rmember never mind all 7...good work!

and the photo with the hitchhiking ghosts is class!

Honeymoon news... if I could design a disneymoon/honeymoon without consulting my other half (suppose his input is important ) thats what'd look like...

I know this is a really childish reason to want to go on a particular cruise ship but...one word...or maybe two...aquaduck!
