Day 9 - Friday 8th October
Hey All, how we doing? Good weekends so far?
Its time for another update, this one isn't as long as the last, but still good.
Today was a
Downtown Disney Day. We had a mini lay in before getting ready do head over to DTD for some breakfast at...
I grabbed a latte and cherry danish, whilst Dave went for banana muffin with one of these frozen treats to wash it down, also banana flavour.
Sorry, no pics of the food, as we ate it all before realising we needed to take a pic
Breakfast done with it was time for some shopping and Disney shopping at that

The first store we stopped at was Pooh Bears, picked up a new version of my "Tigger is that you" tee and some other little bits. Such a cute store.
We wandered around a bit taking our time and pics along the way. Love this Halloween display.
Then it was time to hit...
I love this store, is so huge I love being able to wander around the different parts looking at everything, esp the household stuff.
We ended up getting quite a few bits in here, including gifts for family. I also got my first Dooney & Burke Wristlet in Purple. I wanted to get the messenger bags to go with but they didn't have any but recommended we try Tren-D which was our next stop.
Lots of cool clothes and such and they had my Princess D&B Wristlet, so I bought one of those babies in white

They didn't have any of the messenger bags either. They did have some in MK, but only in Blue and another colour, green I think it was. Was a shame as I really wanted to get myself a pink one, oh well maybe this year.
Dave was starting to get a little cranky with the heat and shopping so we decided to head over to EoS to grab a bite. This was our first time trying EoS as the last time we went to eat here we walked away because of the humongous line!!! Suffice to say this year was no different, but we had heard here on the boards that the line goes pretty quick, so we waited. Good thing you can look at a menu whilst you wait, otherwise it would take ten times longer to order once you get to the front.
It really is off putting, but I think we waited in total around 20mins. So worth it, the sandwiches are just amazing, so can't wait to order me another one this year.
We ended up getting our sandwiches to go as there were no tables in site and the nearest seat was in the baking sun. So we hot footed it over to the bus stops to wait for our ride. I don't think we waited that long, but man was the ride back to the resort hell. It took a total of 1hr to get back, we stopped at Pleasure Island for about 15mins whilst the drivers changed over and the new one checked every possible thing imaginable on the bus. We stopped the CR and was there for 5mins whilst he cleaned up the bus and made some more checks and then finally we made it to the Poly. Thank goodness we weren't at GF.
We got back to the room and lucky for us the sandwiches were still quite warm, so we settled on the balcony for the afternoon. Was cool because we also had our chocolate cake from Cali Grill, that we took to go, for afters and that cake was delicious!
Anywho, here's your food porn. I went for the Hawaiian BBQ and Dave went for the The Holiday Special with turkey, cranberry, gravy etc
Cntd...
