Poor service from Travel City Direct

I agree with you SimonV. TCD are doing their utmost to resolve any issues - as per my thread - TRAVEL CITY - Positive News.
Its a competitive travel market and a company being proactive and reading these boards should be given credit.
Pleased to say that following my call from the Marketing Director - as he promised - I received the correct revised booking schedule the next day! Now cant wait to travel with them.

... can you or can you not upgrade to sunshine first cabin on a fly/drive or do you have to be a package customer ?
 
You can only upgrade to Sunshine First when booking a package with TCD. We got Sunhine First when booking a package (see AlexE earlier in discussion.) Booked fly-drive for September but was told it was full!!! Called again with the view to booking a package and was told that Sunhine First was available! Read into that what you will
 
They must be limiting numbers of fly/drive passengers allowed into sunshine first, because they quoted for Oct 04 on flydrive and upgrade to sunshine first.

Lost Boy, when did they give you this flydrive (with Sunshine first upgrade) quote?

I obtained the quote on either the 15th or 16th of June - Price was slightly higher than Virgin PE (Freq 10% discount helped) so I booked with Virgin.

At no time did the rep from TCD say that I couldnt book Sunshine First with fly/drive. Travel dates were Oct 04 15th-29th 2 adults and 2 children.
