Poor Puppy!

  Poor little thing, Steph. I wish there was a photo and really hope they find a good home soon.

Thanks for the pix, Steph. I'm so totally shocked and horrified that the doggy was going to be "euthanised" just because the owner didn't want:mad: Is this normal? I know we Brits are laughed at for being animal lovers, but why destroy an animal just because it's not wanted, or is there a bit of an overwhelming number problem?

Bring on the pix of your dog - and has he had a bath yet:teeth:

No bath yet. It's freezing here, and I'm wee bit lazy. ;) He's curled up next to DS right now watching Saturday morning cartoons.

Yes, an owner can request that a dog be put down immediately. I was at the Humane Society years ago, and man brought in an Irish Setter. He said the dog kept jumping the fence and to just put him down. The woman asked him several times whether or not he could be put up for adoption, as he was a pure breed, but the man kept saying no. When he walked out of the office everyone in line let loose with some choice comments. There's just some bad people in the world.
