Poor Little Heart Transplant Girl is Back!! Pre-Trippie for Dec 6-18

Hi everyone!! It's been a looong time. A little over a year to be exact!!
For those who don't remember us, here is a little refresher.....

We went to Disney World last September for free dining. That trip resulted in some awesome pics and a fabulous trip-report. Not to mention...we became DVC members at the Saratoga Springs Resort

Here is the cast........

Dec 7-11 Disney Bahama Cruise on the Wonder
Dec 11-18 Saratoga Springs Resort

The Occasion(not that there has to be any to go to WDW): A second Honeymoon. We are getting our marriage "blessed" in the Catholic church before we go. We are already married "legally" with the justice of the peace but we wanted to have this special ceremony to convalidate our marriage in our church.

ANYWAY.......

This trip is the longest "Disney" trip we have ever been on!! We are sooooo excited!!! PLUS we have NEVER been on a cruise......OH BOY!

I hope I don't get seasick!!!!

We are so excited to share our plans with all of you! The "planner" that I am, I am WAAAYY ahead of the game.

1) I booked ALL of our ADR'S

2) I've been penny pinching like crazy to save up the moolah $$$ it's going to take to FUND this escapade.

3) I already paid for our Annual Passes

4) Got our flights and hotel booked.

5) Disney Cruise details are taken care of.

6) Rental car booked.

There are some things I still need to work on.....

1) Passports for Cruise

2) Get some new clothes for our trip.......You didn't expect me to wear my "old" clothes from last year did you??? Heck NO!!
My husband on the other hand would wear anything

Not too shabby!!!!!!!!!! I think we are well on our way to having one heck of a vacation!!!!

NEXT UP ......... Some pics of "US".......... I am a "visual" person. So it is natural that there is going to be A LOT of pictures. I think that pictures do a great job telling a story!!!! Stay tuned for pictures!!!!!

Cool!! We stayed at All Stars Music on our last trip!!!

I know I followed you to your other report briefly (Curiosity had to see what heart transplant girl meant??) And we were there for a few days at the same time. We were there Sept 12-18th We were in the rock & roll building

Dec. 11 - Kona Cafe @ 8pm (heard a lot of great things about this place)


Dec. 12 - 50's Prime Time @ 4:50pm (We had a great and fun meal here last time!!!)

Dec. 13 - Tutto Italia @ 7pm (Can't wait to try this one out..I love Italian food!)


Dec. 14 - 1900 Park Fare @ 7:45pm (I'm so excited about this one b/c it
is at the Grand Floridian and I never got a chance to eat there before!!)


Dec. 15 - Kona Cafe @ 10am BREAKFAST!!(This is A MUST this trip, I skipped it last time and regretted it...TONGA TOAST here I come!!!)

Beaches N Cream (no ressies needed) 7pm(Their burgers look pretty darn good AND that Ice cream!!!!)


Dec. 16 - LeCellier @ 8:05pm This will be on the night of my 8 year anniversary of my heart transplant....what a gift of life I was given. Can't wait to celebrate here!!!


Dec. 17 - Liberty Tree Tavern @ 6:30pm (I LOVE homestyle cooking!!)

Dec 18 -GO HOME ..boooooo

Well I am at home today with a sick child, so I had time to read your trip report from last year. It was very good, I was one of the crazy people trapped at MNSSHP in the pouring rain!! I guess the trip with your step-kids didnt work out?

Uh..no..My husband and I decided to take the kids in the next couple of years. Right now they are VERY hard to take anywhere together. The middle child has A LOT of issues regarding her behavior.(She suffers damage to the brain that controls emotion from chemo....she is a 6 year cancer survivor ) She has been stealing and throwing things at her teachers at school..it's a real mess.

The other two children would be fine.....but when you put them ALL together it's a nightmare right now!! We figured in a couple of years things would calm down a little......maybe

When I have them for the Summer I cannot even take them to the store without a fight and a HUGE scene occur.

AND YES...I remember that CRAZY night...UGH.....We had dinner at O'Hanas that night and we remember looking out of the windows of the restaurant and it was just POURING!! We felt sooo bad for those families that were at the MNSSHP!!

Well we came out of it OK. We were trapped by Buzz lightyear for over an hour, but we just kept riding it!! It is my DD's favorite ride so it was OK. Then we stood around for a while, finally it stopped, for a while. As you were leaving they were passing out passes to come for free another day. MY MIL fed them some sob story and actually got our money refunded, so all was good.

Hi T!!!!

So great to hear that you have another trip in the works!!! At such a GREAT time of year!!! AND a CRUISE as well!!!

This TR is really going to work for me, as I haven't been to WDW during the X-Mas season *and* I haven't been on a Disney cruise yet, but want to do both. So I am sure I will get plenty of tips. I loved your last TR!!!

Your dining ressies look great. Especially the Le Cellier to celebrate your very special day!

As for the Kona breakfast, can I make a suggestion? Yes, you should try the Tonga Toast, but please insist that your husband order the Big Kahuna. The macadamia pancakes are absolutely to die for!!! The Big Kahuna is my absolute favourite. (Excuse me one moment while I put on my flame repellent suit, but personally I found the Tonga Toast overrated).

And one more tip - try to get to Kona early in your trip as you will definitely want to return before you leave. It is my absolute favourite place for breakfast in all of WDW. It opens at 7:30am, so still possible to eat here and make it to rope drop! And in my experience, it has always been a walk-in, no reservations required for me at that hour.
