Hi all! I'm sitting here watching my poor 7 yr old DD sleep off her 104 degree fever
, while her Dad, brother (4), sister (2), Grandma, and Grandpa just left for the Disney on Ice Show which she was dying to see.
I'm so sad for her I could just cry.
I realize that these things happen and she'll get over it, but she wanted to go soooo bad. Her brother was sick since Wednesday, but recovered enough to go. Unfortunately, he passed along his germs to her too late for her to recover in time for the show.
Any ideas of anything special I can do for her when she's feeling better? Tomorrow is the last day of the show around here so getting tickets for a later show is out. She's such a trooper and never complains about anything but I know her heart is just breaking that she missed it.
Suggestions?

Maybe you can go rent her favorite movie and watch it with her?
- but you don't get the instant gratification. (You can even record a sooud - they give you a number to call to record it).
to both of you!
