I know I can't be the only one who still checks on this wonderful horse. And today it is bad news again.
They have had to put more metal in his leg, as he was not bearing any weight on it. It really sounds like this was a last ditch effort to keep him alive.
It makes me so sad that he has been fighting for so long, and he can't seem to catch a break. I know life isn't fair, but sometimes it should be, you know? He has fought so long and hard and the doctors keep saying it is obvious that he wants to live. Is it so much to ask that he heal and be able to have some sons and daughters? Poor horse.

I check on Barbaro too. I sure hope he makes it. He is such a fighter!
