Yes girls, you can finally be just like Barbie! Don't dream for the dream house, don't wish for the Corvette....and don't lust after Ken! You can finally have a Barbie dream of your own by purchasing this doll!

Okay, what MORON decided this was a good idea?! You feed the dog "biscuits" and then it poops them out. Barbie uses her pooper scooper to clean them up. UGH! It's a little more graphic than one of those wetting dolls...I'm sorry, I just couldn't buy this for anything more than a gag gift.

And here's a pretty rough version of the commercial....but you'll see exactly what the dog does.
Barbie and Tanner Poop!

So remember girls....finally, a dream that is REAL!

hahahahhahaha
I can't believe this. DH and I are now officially cat people. We don't live in a neighborhood with yards. We can't imagine picking up warm poops with a baggy.

I saw that yesterday on VH1's "The Best Week Ever" and ended up just :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: . I had to rewind and watch it again and again because it was so freaking funny...

TOV

I saw a commercial for this for the first time last night!! :happytv: I had to rewind and replay it on my DVR because I could not believe what I was seeing!! I hope the point is to help teach pet owner responsibility, but I don't think a Barbie doll is the right tool!!!! :lmao:

:lmao: They even showed the biscuit plopping out! It would have been even better if the tail came up and the dog squatted! Barbie used to be so glamourous!

I saw that commercial! I was like 'Did that dog just POOP'?! What little girl wants to feed a fake dog until it poops then scoop it up? The barbie company is getting desperate :rotfl:

Isn't it terrible? What is even worse is that when my DS sees the commercial he keeps saying he wants the dog that poops! I can't imagine who thought this was a good idea and why anyone would buy it!

OMG!~ :rotfl2:

The only good thing is maybe these kids with dogs will learn to clean up after them! I live in a neighborhood witha lot of dogs. I'm sick of finding poop on my lawn.

Or wait for the child who has one, knows you feed it the biscuits/poop and they try feeding "Rex" at home-the freshly made treats he made. :teeth:

This commerical cracks me and DS10 up.

It's nearly as bad as the gag gift he got one year, where the reindeer pooped the little candies......eeeewwwweeee :guilty:

I think it's hilarious. I can't imagine it being purchased for anything more than a gag gift. Perhaps Mattel is trying to target the young male demographic.... a pooping dog may be a huge hit w/ 10 yr. old boys.

Yes, that pic does look like the dog is eating his own poo. Mmmm!

I AM POOP-SCOOPING BARBIE--This is what I do, when my "babies" have accidents in the house. :rolleyes1

Well, I guess it's better than the 70s doll Baby Alive.

My mom wouldn't let me have a Baby Alive that worked. She thought a 5 year old wasn't old enough to have a toy with batteries. She made my dad remove the entire battery compartment.

However, my friend had a real working Baby Alive. Her mom even bought her extra food (my mom threw mine away because she thought they were dangerous).

My friend's doll would eat and that crap what it age. Eww. It was so gross.

At least the Barbie dog was hard little poos.

olena.. the thought of the squatting dog is hysterical. Eww.

It really is ridiculous. We all know that Ken should be the one scooping the poop.

I found this on another board....LOL!

Can you imagine being in that meeting?

Barbie marketing agent: No, no. I'm serious. Our engineers have designed a little dog that actually s***s just like a real dog, and the only thing that today's girls love more than dogpoop is cleaning up after it. What? Oh yes, I know that the turds can be easily swallowed and mistaken for real rat droppings. That's why we recommend this line of dolls for ages 8 and up.

Barbie President: ..............Oh, hell. We're losing all our market share to Bratz anyway. If we're going down, we might as well go down gracefully, right? (downs the last of his Jim Beam)

lol.. now that they had barbie leave ken... now this. what is wrong with barbie these days lol

Well, looks can only take you so far. Barbie's not as young as she used to be.
