Be warned of SAB. I prefer to watch my kids while they play in the pool and I sometimes sit on a chair and sometimes go in the water with them. But I will not leave them out of my sight (they are still too young although they are great swimmers). At SAB, you can't see them for quite awhile when they go to the slide (and they pass the sidewalk that goes around the lake). Also, SAB in general is large and you can only see one or two sections at a time. I actually didn't like SAB because of this.
As for slides, I think all of the ones that I've tried are fine (they are pool slides, not a waterpark after all). But definitely keep in mind what your needs are (if you don't have little kids, then you wouldn't be worried about what I just posted) and go with those first.
Good luck!
