Last year, we stayed at GF and they had a great water slide at their pool. This year we are staying at CSR, the Swan and POR, how do their slides rate and which resort overall has the best pool slide.

I think the slide at Yacht/Beach Club at Stormalong Bay is the best, followed closely by the Grand Floridian and Polynesian.

If you are looking for a looooooong, curving slide then the Keister Coaster at the Boardwalk resort would be the best. I believe it is 200ft long and themed after a boardwalk roller coaster. There's only one problem with it.....That dumb clown face at the end! :scared1: :)

My kids love the POR slide. They also like CSR. They were too little when we stayed at BWV, but I think it is a great slide.

What is the slide like? Does it go straight down in an enclosed tunnel or does it have some twists and turns? I have never seen a good picture of it. In fact, I hear all kinds of praise for SAB, but I have no idea what is actually there. Do they have a lazy river? Do they have several water slides? Not to highjack the thread, just curious about the best pools too!:goodvibes

Pull up a chair honey....let me tell ya!!!!:p We are leaving tomorrow for this fabulous resort and doing a split stay with the Poly. We are staying at the YC JUST for pool...it is THAT good.

The slide is enclosed for about 1/3 of the way and then it opens up and twists and turns everywhich way! There is an awesome "whirlpool" area....our favorite thing to do is to buy a noodle and use it like a horse and spin round and round in the whirlpool, it is the greatest! The whirlpool is right by the slide so I can keep an eye on my two boys while spinning my DD.;)

The "lazy river" part of SAB is fabulous and so relaxing but be careful if you don't know how to swim b/c it is DEEP! The kiddie area...is just beyond words. If you have infants or toddlers, they are going to be in heaven...it is a huge "sandbar" area and then a huge pool area.

The waitresses also come and take your order at your lounger or chair for beer or food...it just doesn't get any better!!!

Ohhhh...I almost forgot...they have a pirate pool and slide for the toddlers, it is incredible.

I love this place...lol.

Hooray! Glad to hear all these details about pools/water slides! We want to stay at BC/YC because of the pools and skip the water parks entirely!!

Any and all info about pool water slides would be great! My kids are a bit spoiled with regard to water slides as we stayed at the Nick Hotel this year!

Also, can you go down with two people at a time on any of them?? My 5 year old is a bit scared of the taller slides.

Keep the comments coming!! Thanks!!

The slide at the Polynesian is GREAT!
Said slide is completely enclosed...it goes down in a spiral and
then at the last second takes you in the opposite direction before
ejecting you out...you definitely will pick up speed before
your exit!

How about the slide and pool area at the Swan/Dolphin?, is there a pool bar there?
