What, if any, pool toys are allowed at the quiet pools? I am not talking about squirting, projectile type toys. We are taking a seven year old and would like to have a noodle, kickboard, or possibly rings to dive for. She is a beginner swimmer and we would like to have something to boost her confidence level.

Also, are the racer type scooters prohibited in the resort? She would never use it on the major sidewalks or in the common areas. If we stay near a non busy cul-de-sac we would like to have it for her to use up some excess energy.:)

How deep is the water at the base of the slide at the sand castle in OKW? Can a seven year old navigate it with comfort as a beginner? She has no fear of water or of going under. She starts to panic when the water is too high under her chin for her comfort level.

Noodles are not usually a problem with the pools. I'd bet kickboards would be in the same category as would diving rings.

Scooters, skates and bikes are not permitted on sidewalks at the resorts.

Can't help you with the pool question.

We have never had a problem with toys in the quiet pools. My kids always like to have noodles or tubes.
There is no one on duty at the quiet pools- so unless your children were super unruly, and someone called to complain, I don't think you need to worry.
Certainly, if a lone person were swimming laps- I would make my children swim quietly and leave the toys out. But generally speaking- this has never been the case! We usually have the places to ourselves.

I just came back from BWV with my wife and young boys. We went to get noodles and they no longer have them. They said we could go over to the BC and but the noodles. I said no to that. If you want toys for the pools you might want to bring your own.
