Pool question

just a quck one for you experts we are thinking of staying at one of the universal hotels and was wondering if you can use the pools at all 3 hotels if you stayed at only one of them

YEs, you can. They actually encourage it.

As Stated above, Yes you can. I would rate the Portofino's beach pool as the best with the best slide. Royal Pacific is nice but no slide. I would recommend using the bus rather than the boats.

We have been at HRH, and absoutely love the pool there. We went over and tried RPR's pool, which was okay, but not as nice as the HRH in my opinion (never tried PBH's). HRH's pool has a cool slide, underwater music, and awesome music above ground as well (good rock variety, no rap or anything). The lifeguards play around with the kids (when we were there they had some sort of water balloon contest thing where the kids had to protect their balloons, and all the guards snuck up on them and broke them) and waiters/waitresses are constantly walking around to get you drinks/food.

RPR was nice, but did not seem as "happening" as HRH, and I did not see a waitress at all (although they do have them, since there were menu's on the chairs, just no one around to take an order). The only place I saw to get a drink was to go up to the bar, but it was packed at the time with men who were dressed as though they were there on a convention. Well, being in my bathing suit.......I decided to forgo the drink!

Is the Portifino slide less crowded than the HRH? We'll be staying at the RPR, can we just drive over to visit the Port pool? How late do the slides run. Thanks!

No refillable mugs. PBH slide is not as crowded as HRH. Slides are down at 10. Do not drive or you'll have to pay to park. The easiest way to get from RPR to PBH is the bus. The pick up is beyond Tchoup Chop and the convention center and they take you front door of PBH. Coming back(wet) you might want to take the water taxi and switch at the Citywalk dock or walk from there.
My kids love the HRH experience. Younger kids like RPR.

Wow, as a RPR guest already paying their parking charge, seems like I should be able to park at the Porto w/o an extra charge.
