No, don't worry, I'm not asking about pool hopping. ;)

What kinds of "toys" are kids allowed to bring into the hotel pools? My 6yo just started learning to swim last year, and we are going in June, before this years' swim lessons begin. Needless to say, he won't be quite adept at the swimming thing. I know I can get a life jacket for him, and I will be with him at all times. One thing he likes to use at home, though, is a kickboard to help keep him afloat. Does anyone know if he'd be allowed to bring it in the pool at our resort? Or a pool noodle? Thanks in advance!! :sunny:

I don't think they allow kick boards.
I do know they allow water wings.

I thinK SAB allows noodles.
Anyone know if any other pools allow them?

Have fun at Disney!

The Boardwalk Inn allows noodles because they have them at their little clubhouse to borrow or rent. (can't remember if it was borrow or rent) I saw them at the pool a few times.

People at POFQ brought their own splash bomb balls to toss to eachother -- the kind that are soft and fill with water, and when you throw it the person catching it gets soaked. Guess since they are already in the pool it doesn't much matter that they are getting soaked! ;)

Haven't seen any kick boards.

Last May, I saw kids at the Hippy Dippy Pool at POP with inflatable swim rings (the kind that Target has for $2.99).

i am pretty sure i remember kids at the wild. lodge pool with noodles. you could probley use the kickboard at your hotels quiet pool, since they don't get so crowded. i don't remember there being any rules at the pool about thing like that, maybe the really big floats, but not a kickboard :confused3
