Pool Hopping with a RCI reservation?

I know awhile ago pool hopping was permitted for DVC members at other DVC resorts but I am not sure if that is even the case anymore. We will be staying with a friends RCI exchange and all my contact information is through member services-are we allowed to pool hop and what resorts if we are? Thanks!

You must be using your membership to stay at a DVC Resort to be eligible to pool hop. An in-bound RCI exchange is not using your membership.

be aware that staying at a DVC resort does not qualify you for DVC member perks. (i noticed you say in another thread that you are not a DVC member.)

No. Only actual MEMBERS who are staying on DVC MEMBER POINTS are ever eligible to pool hop.

It does for some but not for others but only for DVC members staying through RCI. You mainly lose the PH option.

Non-members staying on an RCI reservation would not receive the benefit of any DVC Member perks.

A DVC member with a RCI reservation would still get DVC dining discounts, AP discount, shopping discounts and several others (Owner's Locker, recreation, free DVD rental, ect.) - but not pool hopping.

You are correct, I misread it as a DVC member staying through RCI, sorry for the confusion.
