pool hopping rules

As of right now, what are the pool hopping rules and regulations for DVC owners? Are there rumors going around about these rules changing?

At the present time, pool hopping is restricted on all major holidays and any time pools are at capacity. You are requested to call ahead to the resort to check if it is available that day. There have been a lot of rumors/reports that pool hopping will be eliminated at SAB when BCV opens but no official word yet.
