There's been a lot of talk around here recently of pool hoping and it's future with BCV opening soon. But I've never pool hopped before so I don't know that much about it. This spring I'm planning a trip to stay at BWV (my first DVC trip BTW) and wanted to take advantage of this benefit and head over to SAB.

But what is the protocol? I mean, I just picture all of these DVCers walking around the lake wearing swimsuits and flipflops. Is that it, or do you bring a bag over to the bath rooms and get changed at the pool etc.? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Wayne

hi: my kids (teens and twenties) use this benefit more than i do. the only time i've pool hopped over to sab, i just wore my bathing suit and coverup and walked there. the kids usually just wear their suits over too. have the front desk call over to make sure the pool isn't at capacity and you'll be able to go.

We have always pool hopped to SAB from BWV's. My DD has loved SAB since she was 18 mos. All that sand. We take a beach bag over usually w/ pail and shovels etc along w/ our lotion. We wear our bathing suits and long t-shirts, wraps etc. Its a very nice and not too long walk across the bridge or you can take the boat. SAB will supply the towels. Don't forget to call and bring your "DVC" member card and key saying you are a member. Its alot of fun. Do it while you can  before SAB is closed to non guests. This is one family who will miss pool hopping to SAB :(
