Pool Cabanas

The Grand Floridian has cabanas to rent outside the pool for $180/half day. Does anyone know what the timeframe is for “half day”? Is it number of hours, like 6 hours, or time, like 9am-2pm? I can’t find the info anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Since they are staffed at the cabanas 10 - 7, it should be 10-2 and 3-7 but I thought they stopped half day rentals. You can always call them at 1-407-WDW-PLAY or or 1-407-939-7529 beginning at 7 AM ET to confirm or book

Since resorts reopened after Covid, full day rental only. From the WDW website:

“Cabanas are available for full day rentals. Cabanas at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa—as well as those shared by Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort—are available to Guests of those Resorts only.

To reserve a cabana, please call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529. Private dining is also available at an additional cost. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.”

It's too bad they stopped the half day rentals. We enjoyed that on a prior trip but don't want/need it all day!

Does anyone know where the cabanas are at Contemporary? I’ve figured out there are two at the leisure pool (I’m pretty confident about this) but the internet is giving me conflicting answers on the feature pool - either 2 cabanas or 2 patios or none.

We had a cabana at the feature pool. I think there were 4 there
