Pool bars question

This is NOT a pool hopping thread. I would never invade another resort's pool but was wondering if dh and I are visiting resorts is it ok to visit the pool bar for a drink. I don't mean hang out all day or anything but just to have a drink and enjoy the ambience to see if it's a place we would like to stay in the future? Or is this considered wrong? Also, please let me add we wouldn't take up chairs or barstools if other guests needed them.

There is absolutely no problem with you visiting another resorts pool bar. You would be a paying customer.
