Pool at the CR

Can anyone tell me anything about the pool at the Contemporary? How deep is it? Is it very big? Can you use tubes and floats? How far is it from the North Garden Wing?

I don't know how deep it is, but it's a good size and the slide looks like fun.

I'm 5'4", and at the deepest part, my head was still above water. I can't remember the depth markings, but that should give you an idea. It's a decent size, and I don't know about tubes and floats. I would think if it's not too busy you can use tubes and floats, but if there are a lot of people, you may have stop using them. If the lifeguards can't see the bottom of the pool, they can't do their job. The pool is closer to the tower and south wing, but it's not that far from the north wing. It took us less than 5 minutes to walk from our room in the north wing to the pool.

We were at the CR in April and if I am remembering correctly that pool was not much over 4 feet deep in any part. It is a bit deeper at the end that the slide is at. My kids enjoyed the slide a lot and there are also 2 hot tubs right beside the pool that you can get in while your kids are swimming. My 4 yr old did wear water wings and a small circular float "ring", but I dont remember seeing any big floats or things like that while we were down there. It is not a far walk to the north wing like the previous poster stated.
