What I found very telling about last night's Airline episode is that SWA went out of it's way to make sure the tall passengers were accomodated. The allowed both tall people to pre-board specifically so they would get the much desired emergency exit row. Why is that? Is it ok to be tall at SWA but not heavy? Why not allow pooh-sized people two seats unless the flight is sold out and then offer them a choice? These are all meant to be rhetorical questions really. I do understand why the airlines and SWA more specifically needs to make very large people have two seats but it just seems that the rule isn't applied equally.
