Pony rides and map of FW ?s please

1. Can anyone tell me where I could possibly find some info. on the pony rides at FW (ie. costs, weight/age restrictions, location at FW, hours, reservations required etc)?
2. Can anyone tell me where I could locate a map of FW and WL? Can you walk between the two area?
3. Are there play gounds located at both FW and WL?
4. Being an offsite guest I think I can get a 3 hour parking pass. BUt what does a person do if they want to stay longer???

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
We have never been to FW/WL and would like to spend a half day there (at the playground, pony ride , and camp fire/movie).

Try this link http:www.title-3.com/FWFacts.htm This is a good site for all your questions. You can walk between the 2 resorts on a paved path that takes about fifteen min to a half an hour. The pony rides are right up front by the lake side of the resort and if I remember kids had to be 6 yrs old to ride by them selves........Have fun.....TAZ

When we took my two DS's in September, the 8 year old was weighed and they almost did not let him ride (he is 60 lbs). We were surprised because we had not seen any weight restrictions. They made an exception for him and let him ride but he was a bit embarassed - I don't think he will return!

I believe the pony rides are from 10-5pm, not sure of the weight restrictions....cost was $4 a couple of months ago. My dd 3 went and loved it. My dd rode the pony while dh led the pony and I had my hand near my dd's back. You walk around in a circle one time. If you want to go around again then it is an additional $4.

1. At the FW Marina, you can take a boat to go to WL, Contemporary, and MK. Very relaxing and beautiful setting. You will see other people doing parasailing and riding two people speeding boats.

2. There are several playgrounds at FW, there is one between the Marina and Pioneer Hall. At WL, there is a Kid's Club where kids can paint and do crafts for a small fee.

3. I paid $4 last Dec. for the pony ride. Don't remember age requirement, but a nine yrs. old kid will be kind of heavy for the small pony. The ride is a short, snake-like-path-walking-speed, that a parent does along with the kid. This is near Pioneer Hall.

4. Campfire is also very nice and FREE. Marshmellow kit is around $3.50, and includes 2 sticks and a medium size bag of marshmellows. (You can bring your own). Sticks alone are .33 cents. At 6:30 CM starts burning two firepits and at 6:45 start the sing along show.

Pony rides are available from 10am - 5pm. Cost is $4. Rides are for ages 2-8 who weigh 80lbs or less.
