Ponchos

Last trip, we bought the cheapie plastic bag dollar store ponchos and while they did the job (with some help) I think we want to go with ponchos with hoods that actually stay on your head without having to constantly be held on the head (those who have bought the dollar store ponchos know what I am talking about )

What kind of poncho do you have? We don't want to spend a fortune but would like something a step or two up for us and the kids.

We always just buy the Disney ponchos. A bit more expensive but good quality, and if they rip or tear they can be exchanged for new ones

Thanks! Do you remember the cost? (approximately) and I assume there are sizes for kids?

We haven't had to buy new ones in a long time (but it looks like we will be buying new ones when we go down next week - rain every day)

I think that they are under $10 - and the kids sizes are a bit cheaper.

They also make fun souvenirs - you can think of Disney when you walk your dog or go to the kids soccer games on rainy days.

The large shopping bags work well as a child's poncho in an emergency. Just FYI.

I still have one from 2007 that I got for free on DCL. If you are on a disney cruise and it's raining well you are in port they hand them out before you leave the ship.

I was looking for cheap pnchos last night, and Walmart had both ponchos and rain coats for about 9.00. They were with the umbrellas (they had Minnie Mouse brollies!) in the area with hats and purses.
