Ponchos

Hi Guys,

I am looking to buy ponchos....better than dollar-store ones but not as expensive as Disney...Where is the best place? Has anyone bought them at Target or Walmart?

I'd like to be able to re-use them.

We got a Tote's at Kmart for DD's school trip for $4.99 it came with a little case. We used our Disney Park ones this year due to the heavy rain, the Dollar Tree ones did not cut it! The ones in the park are $7.50 which I didn't think was that bad.

We looked and looked for ponchos prior to our May 2010 trip and they were hard to find. Wal*mart here (and I live in the same town as WM headquarters) no longer sells the cheap $1 ponchos. They only have ones that come in their own small bag for about $6-7 each. We bought them, but it didn't rain so we didn't need them. Can't tell you about durability.

We got Coleman ponchos for our trip. They were $4.88 for kids' sizes, and $5.88 or so for the adult ones. We've already tried them out while camping, so they should hold up fine for WDW in 9 days!

$7.50 is great! The way people talk about them I thought they were like $20 each! Seeing as for me this is something I would only need in WDW I think I'll wait and get some there. Especially since I might not even need them!

I got ones at Target for a couple of $ each. They were called Coleman Emergency Ponchos and were in the camping section. I'm not sure if they would be considered reusable, but it comes in a thin plastic package. I did not get the chance to use it so I'm not sure how great they are. But they were cheap so check em out at your target

we bought the one'a at Target the Coleman ones I paid $1.00 each definetly came in handy on our trip last month I think I could have reused them if I folded them up but were tossed, will be buying them again that was a great tip from the DIS boards
