Ponchos sold in Disney Resort Gift Shops??

We will be arriving at CBR this Sunday, and I've been looking at the weather for Orlando that particular day. Thunderstorms are very likely.

We like to purchase the Mickey ponchos and therefore won't get them until we arrive. Can I buy ponchos at the CBR, maybe their gift shop has them??

When we went in June '02 (I believe the rainiest in FL history, lol!) they were available everywhere!! They were selling them at the little stands in the parks even. I don't think you'll have a problem finding them.

Yes - at the slightest hint of rain every stand and shop everywhere will have a pile ready to go!

Yes, the CBR gift shop does have rain ponchos. We visited in Nov. and saw them on the counter. When staying there a few years ago, they also had some in the room that you could purchase. Not sure if they still do that. Have a fun trip!

When I stayed there in Nov. 2001 they had them in the room. I don't know if they still do that or not but you can find them at almost any gift shop there.

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that the yellow ponchos are no more... they are now clear, so that folks don't lose thier kids so easily in the sea of yellow.

Yup, I read about that. Very smart idea for families with children. Doesn't matter to me what color they are, as long as Mickey is on them!

I believe they are $6 a piece. Worth the money as they are really thick.

is available at Target, Wal-Mart, etc. for only $1! The only difference is that they don't have Mickey on them. But since most will only use them for one day, saving $5 is worth it!!!

Last time we were at CBR, there were ponchos in the room that you could open and then the cost would be charged to your room bill.
