Ponchos, Ponchos everywhere.. Updated 12/14

It's 1:33 in the morning and i've finally caught up on your TR. Love the pictures, love the stories. I have to confess the drama involved is what drew my attention. My parents learned that tag-a-longs were a bad idea twice. Back in 2006 when I was 16, my best friend tagged along. By the 2nd day..I was going to choke her, she was one of those first timers who was too timid to do anything, and then when she found something she liked she wanted to do it over and over again (which happened to be SSE) :headache: the second time I had my boyfriend come with us when I was 18. It was okay, but he wasn't into Disney as much as I am, so he would constantly tell me to shut up about Disney.

Also, I'm sorry you guys got rained out constantly. BUT I would rather take rain and heat over the 19 degree weather we endured in December 2010. It was horrible, never thought FL could get that cold.

I'm so surprised you got that many people into the Value rooms. My father who is going in December with me and 2 other adults insisted on getting two separate rooms because 1 room is good for 2 adults.

It changes a lot when your kids get older. My parents used to do late park days, but now we're up by 6, leaving by 7 if its emh and 7 wake up and leave by 8 if its a regular park day.

Also since when did they stick lightning mcqueen in the Lights Motors Action? We were back there in April and they didn't have him in it. Don't get me wrong, loved the movie Cars..But i'm not sure if i'd like it with Lightning.

Keep the updates coming!

OH no, Rebel in the rain, not a good thing. That's why I didn't carry mine a lot and brought a zip lock bag with me when I did. Still would have been a pain. We never did end up buying ponchos, but we probably should have. Although we were lucky enough to be at the hotel or inside when it started pouring, except that first day.

I feel you on the meltdowns, although it was my oldest melting down on my 5, almost 6 year old.

Where are those miniature models at Epcot? Totally missed that, the kids would have thought that was cool. We are so unobservant! :rotfl:

Yeah I only brought it to each park once..

must be a 5 almost 6 year old thing to meltdown at every opportunity.

I believe those are in Germany..someone correct me if I am wrong..

Taejan was uninterested in eating and was in and out of "awake". We ate around him..lol.. the show started and my little ones LOVED it! 95% of the people from the audience that were talked to were from Up north.. a lot from Mass like us. The did a shout out to Noah on his birthday. He was having a great time..

Taejan perked up and wanted some food. The waiter brought us more corn and mashed tato's.

Declan laughed so much the next day he was complaining his upper stomach hurt when he breathed in..took us a few to realize he had actually strained his diaphragm.LOL

About 1/2 way thru Noah's girlfriend left.. Noah followed. She had stuffed herself so full of food ( and she knows she has digestive issues) she was not feeling good. I was not happy. I had a feeling she did this to get the attention to her not Noah. Noah ended up missing a good part of the show comforting her.. grrr

They came back ( after I hunted them down) and all the kids got to play the wash board.

We left after the show and we had no wait for a boat. We did , however , have to wait en route as the Water Parade went by us.. but that was ok.. it was neat to see it so close up. We beat the Wishes crowd so it took us about 30 seconds to get on a Pop bus. The kids were beat so we went right to the room and right to bed!

Up next.. attack of the Tie Dye Krew.

I can't believe that they didn't have enough chairs at Hoop-de-doo! I'm usually pretty laid back, but I certainly would have let a manager know how displeased I was that my big kid was stuck in a high chair! You seemed to have bad luck with your ADRs, I hope it is smoother sailing for the rest of the week.

Glad Taejan was feeling better! I hope that it was just a passing thing and that he doesn't miss any park time.

Luckily my kids are small for their age so the high chair was not a huge deal. They had a packed house.. def not a bug deal in the grand scheme of things..lol.

He was fine after a good nights sleep.. we did miss park time later but not cus of him..

I don't come on the Dis for two days and you write these big long updates! Phew, got done reading them.

Sucks for all the rain. You seemed to have a pretty good run at Epcot before though.

What was up with the old grumpy lady? Who cares if you are not getting out, it's not like the monorail would be full at that time of the day anyway.

Good thing that Taejan did not feel sick for too long.

Ugh @ the girlfriend making Noah miss part of the show on his birthday.

Wish I knew what the old lady's issue was.
