Ponchos, Ponchos everywhere.. Updated 12/14

After Splash we headed over to Big Thunder. Mavrik ( who rode Splash) made it thru one height check for this ride but then was taken off the ride before it started and remeasured by a different CM and not allowed on. This also happened at Star Tours . Moral of that is.. just because they are deemed tall enough for some rides they made not for others with the same height limit. And also they may make it thru one check point..but not another!

Declan and Monty, Epiphani and Ziah:

Taejan and Declan HATED this ride.. in fact Declan cried for half of it.. Jadziah LOVED it ( she's my thrill ride kid). Declan was mad at me for a few hours after for making him go on it!

Next stop was The Country Bears.. Mavrik decided to make certain that Jadziah remember she was HIS girlfriend!

We had a longish wait but it was totally ok ...we were out of the sun and the extreme heat!

After that Brian and I bolt to grab Buzz Fastpasses for the whole group.. we met back up with everyone at Pooh.

Oh between Big Thunder and The Country Bears we stopped for snacks ( right outside BTMR). I asked my kids NOT to sit on the curb thing.. yet my daughter did..and sat in bird poo.. yes.. all over her shorts. She had a meltdown because i only had extra clothes for Taejan. So she had to wear Taejan's shorts. They were grey and certainly didn't scream "BOY". All day she whinned about them. We tried 2 or 3 stores to buy her new ones..but they had nothing we thought she'd ever wear again at home so she got none. She was NOT happy about this.. oh well dear daughter..next time mommy says "please don't sit there.." LISTEN!

As far as I know it was..

well I'm a bit "bossy" LMAO.. I knew what was on my list and the other 15 could follow or go away..lol. My BFF has been like 14 times and prefers someone else to make the decisions..so it worked perfect. I'm a thinker and a planner..she is not..it's a match made in heaven..LOL

After Winnie the Pooh we all separated. Brians family all went back to the resort except him. The Sweener krew went to eat. Brian joined us and we headed to Tomorrowland. At this point my mom had called..she was back in the park. I had her go grab a Buzz FP. Her time was later than ours ( of course) so we had some time to do other things.

We decided to ride The People Mover.. we just love this!

We met Buzz ( well Ziah was not in the mood for the long line):

Then we used our fastpasses for Buzz ( ours were long "expired" but as always..that didn't matter!). I think Eric rode alone this time.. the rest of us paired up... after this we decided to head over to AdventureLand..

So after we rode Buzz we decided to head over to Adventureland.. at this point Declan was NOT feeling well. We didn't know why at that time..but come to find out he had drank all the creamers at the restaurant that morning and it was NOT agreeing with him ( um lactose intolerant) and only getting worse.

As we made our way across we came upon the 3pm parade.. we stopped and watched..mostly because we were stuck..lol

We ended up hooking back up with the Sweener krew.. and the rain started. So we walked..fast to the Tiki Room.. we had to wait outside the show building for awhile..we stuffed kids up under the roof..luckily soon we were allowed into the pre-show.

The show was..well ok.. better than UNM but not something my kids will beg to do again. It was a great place to get out of the rain though!

Next stop was food.. we separated from the Sweeners again. We all needed to eat so we opted for the Tortuga Tavern. At this point Declan was a mess.. he needed to go rest. We flipped a coin and Eric lost..so he took Declan back to the room. Noah and Kate went to ( they meet up with Eric at the gate) because Kate was "bored"..REALLy? Noah was not real happy but he agreed to take a break. The plan was for them to come back in time for the parade.

Well we are now down to myself, my mom, Ziah, Taejan and Brian. I really wanted to take Taejan on the Railroad so we walked calmly off in that direction. I was REALLY bummed that Dec was gone. Now a month later he is bummed because he missed a lot of things that afternoon.

I, again, offered them to meet Jessie and Woody.. nope..they didn't want to wait in the line. So instead they played and burned off some energy:

I needed to ride the Haunted Mansion again..I adore this ride. After that we decided to get a longer break from the rotten heat and went into The Hall of Presidents. I really wish Declan had seen this.. we are doing a year long in depth study of the Presidents and this would have been perfect.

I'm still reading it! I've just had a crazy week so I didn't have time to come on the Dis, and now since yesterday I've had a cold so I read the latest update but did not post a comment.

I'm not even done choosing all my borders for photopass, I really need to get to that... But I don't feel like focusing on something today...

I have read every bit of it and am waiting for more! We leave for Disney in 4 days and your report has gotten me psyched up. I even bought some pins for my slightly shy almost 8 year old. We'll see how he does!

I understand busy.. this coming week I have to work both jobs, school the kids, sports,dance etc PLUS watch my friends 17 month old and 4 year old..ahhhh
