We are leaving soon for our trip and I had two lingering questions that I could use all you DIS'ers wisdom

1) Are their ponchos for babies? If not, how do you keep them dry when it rains at the park?

2) Is there anywhere that sells stroller covers in the stores? I completely spaced on ordering one, and now it is too late.

Thanks!!

I actually found ours brand new at our Goodwill. They had stacks of stacks, new int heir package.

The WDW ponchos are too big for babies and most toddlers. I would head out to wallmart/target et all and just get a rainjacket or rain resistant jacket for the baby. If you have a babies r us or toys r us they usually have the stroller rain covers in stock. Worse comes to worse maybe you could order one online and have it shipped to you c/o your resort.

Have fun

I think it would be way too hot to have a toddler in a rain jacket. I bought my cover at Wal Mart for about $8. Our Mac stroller came with one that domes on.

We bought our stroller cover at Babies R Us, and we used a regular sized poncho from Dollar Tree for our DD2. We just cut it shorter and tied a knot to make it tighter.

We bought the stroller cover for our jogging stroller at Babies R Us. We didn't take that one along to Disney, though. We tried to cover it with a cheap poncho but it didn't work. We decided that it was best to just put DS in the poncho (yes, it was a Mickey Poncho and it was miles too big) and put him in the stroller. We didn't care if the stroller was wet. We tied his poncho on both sides so that he didn't trip.

When we got back to our room, I dried his stroller with the blow dryer.

I'm sure it would be much easier to just have a cover for the stroller!

I have seen stroller raincovers (universal size ones so should fit most single strollers) at Sears, Kmart, Walmart, and Toys R Us for about $7.99-9.99 recently. I need to pick one up for our Peg P3 soon. HTH

We covered our daughters stroller (a Graco metrolite) with a clear plastic poncho from Wal-Mart. We had never planned to do this, but it worked quite well for the night we needed it! She was able to see and was dry while the rest of us were dampish - we pulled it down over her stroller while we headed into Crystal Palace for dinner as well and it kept her seat nice and dry.

With our past experiences we will never go without a stroller cover again!! Even if it is bright and sunny, you could have a downpour while you are in a ride and come back to a soaked stroller. We always cover it when we park it for any amount of time.

We have an Instep double jogging stroller and bought our stroller cover off ebay.
