Hi,
We're driving from Pompano to Boardwalk and was wondering which road is better I-95 or the toll road, omg just forgot the name.
I'm thinking the toll road is better but someone mentioned that there is construction going on. Also we are leaving at 7am so rush hour traffic might be a problem. I'm trying to convince DH to leave the night before so we have a fresh start to the day.
Thanks for you help.

with nothing but flat land for as far as the eye can see. WE make the trip a least once per year, go turnpike it is about 3 hours
He and my step-mom drove up from Pompano Beach the day after Thanksgiving to spend the day with us in WDW. He had planned on a drive of about 3 hrs...he's done it before, so wasn't concerned. Well, it seems that everyone from SE Florida decided to go to WDW at the same time. It took him 4 1/2 hrs to even get to WDW and then he got all discombobulate somehow and just couldn't find his way to BWV. I had told him to look for the signs that said Epcot Resorts but he kept ending up at Epcot. He ended up in that parking lot 4 times!!! And then he kept getting onto the Florida Turnpike. After about 1 1/2 hrs. of looking for us he told my step-mom that if he ended up on the FT one more time he was just going to head south!!! Finally a CM told him how to get to MGM and they called us from their cell phone and we talked them in. Only took almost 6 hrs to get there..they were a wee bit frazzled. We wanted to spend some time the next day with them but Dad said..."NO, we're going back to our hotel room, sleeping, eating breakfast and going HOME!!"
Thanks all it's the Turnpike for us.
