my family is planning on staying there in September.

The Poly is my favorite resort at WDW. The rooms have been completely redone and they are beautiful. You also have direct access to the monorail to take you to the MK!!! They also have 2 great restaurants, 'Ohana and Kona Cafe. I think you have made a great choice, you will love the Poly

IMHO it's not nearly as good as Contemporary because we had a Thahiti building and it was closer to walk to the TTC instead of walking to the Poly's monorail service. We were also insulted, no not by a CM, by someone who was at the bus stop and pointed to my mom's crocs, which were red, and they said, "Who would wear red crocs? They don't match anything!" so yea... kinda saddening memories but that's just us.

On a nice note, have a magical trip!

I like walking around there and the waterfalls and plants and the monorail is great but the main building is looking old. The main pool is really new and nice (Volcano one) and the refurbished rooms are good. I think it is a good choice.

The Poly Rawks.
We stayed there like 3 times in a row.
One of my fav resorts!

Rarotonga is a perfect one.
But as far as location goes, the Poly probably has the best transportation.

Poly is AWESOME!! Sadly, I am not staying there this summer..My family and I is going to stay at the Boardwalk..But, I have been to the poly about 6 times...Oh yea! If u stay concierge, the cookies are really uber good!!!!!!!!!!

It's awesome. In my top three favorites that I've stayed at (1.Grand Floridian 2. Poly 2. Yacht Club)
It has great location. You can watch wishes from the swings on the beach and they pipe the music in. The pool and slide are great. It's just beautiful to walk around. It has nice shops and places to eat. Transportation is so easy. You can take the monorail. Or you're just a walk away from the TTC where you can get transportation ANYWHERE on WDW property. It's so easy, and lovely there.
