We requested upper floor. Unfortunately, many people have learned about the first floor views and ask for upper floor.

Have a great time! We enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning in future years.

We have a standard view booked. Checking in on the 25th but late at night 8:30p). If I do online check in do I have any better chance of not getting Pago Pago?

I did online check in and had talked with member services about our room requests prior to our Poly stay. I had requested Moorea, upper floor and received Pago Pago parking lot view.

In our case, online check-in did not good.

I'm not sure how they would end up reclassifying the rooms though, this is going to be tough, since some of those first floor Moorea rooms can see the castle between the bungalows. So is it still a theme park view- arguably yes. I don't know how they're going to do it though.

They wouldn't have to reclassify all the rooms. I also think they need to add a pool view category once construction is done.

Online check in seems to be a real cr*p shoot. I got here yesterday with lake view booked and had requested upper floor, near elevator. I got a perfect 2nd floor Moorea room! Seriously, I was prepared for less but so happy... perfect fireworks view. Boat noise and horns isn't a big deal to me but I can see where it might bother some folks.
