Hey all, I tried to search this but couldn't find so I apologize in advance if it's been asked or discussed previously. Currently looking at different options for a late August-early Sept stay. As I used the resort avaliability tool I noticed a recurring theme that at the Poly the Bungalows are open for almost every date. Do you think that's because they've overpriced (BY PTS I mean) the bungalows and maybe they will lower the points to stay there at some pt? I have my doubts they'd do this but I guess you never know.

It's been discussed. They originally released the points chart for both 2015 and 2016. The earliest they could do a reallocation is 2017. Probably will be later, if at all, in order to sell more points, first.

If DVC were of a mind to do so, they may never reallocate and use the vacancy to sell rooms for cash (while DVC members pay for the upkeep). Now, DVC has an obligation to act in the interest of members, but any reallocation of points down has to correspond to raising points in the studios. It can be argued that raising studio points wouldn't be in member's best interest.
