It just occurred to me that we are going to the Luau in December and it may be cold. :sad2: Is the Luau entirely outside? Does anyone know if they have any type of space heaters if it is cold? Thank you.

the building is open to the outside, so you would feel the cold some. I'm sure they'd have heaters. They had heaters on the outdoor seating area at Rose and Crown, so i'm sure they'd do the fancy luau party. Bring jackets and watch the weather b/c it can be very chilly, or warm!

I've seen the dinner show get cancelled when the weather is very cold. This past Dec. clients had their show cancelled on fairly short notice due to weather temps, but that month had a lot of cold snaps and freezing temps that are unusual for FL.

Yes, they can put out heaters for the guests, but there's not much they can do for the CM's in the show wearing grass skirts or loincloths other than those same heaters. It's not like they can wear a coat! I'm sure the CM's don't perform when the temps go below a certain range, so the show gets cancelled.

I've advised clients on the DDP or DxDP going in the winter to do the Luau early enough in their stay so they can use those two credits elsewhere if the show is cancelled.
