Polynesian Lovers..Please help me celebrate! Our first time there!!

I did it... I did it!! I booked Poly for 2 nights.. and WL for 3 nights.. and POFQ for 3 nights!!

I'm happy happy joy joy!!

I'm a tropical kind of girl.. and I have always been wanting to try the Poly, but just don't have the nerve to book it. I'm always worried that I may not like it for the rate they charge. Well... I will never know if it's worth it and how much I will like it until I stay there. So, I booked Poly for 2 nights! I don't want to stay there for the whole entire trip. I just want to get a feel on how it would be like to stay there. And just in case I will not like it, which I highly doubt, I have my favorite resorts to fall back on.. WL and POFQ!!

I don't care what building they put me in, as long as I am on the 3rd floor with a balcony and near the main bldg.

I already booked my DME. Bus will drop us of at Poly and the bus will pick us up from the POFQ back to the airport.

Any suggestions... tips? TIA!!

I am sooo excited!! It is going to be a wonderful vacation!! AAAaaahhhhh!!!

UPDATE: We have moved our date to first week of Aug. And we are not doing POP. We are doing 4 nights Poly and 3 nights POFQ!! We are sooo excited!!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip! We're splitting our stay between the Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian too; I think they are a great combination for a split stay

Yeah for you too! Hope you love and enjoy your stay at the Polynesian as much as we do! You've got a good plan though....you're ending your trip at the WL and POFQ, your favorite resorts so far. Have a wonderful time!

Congrats! I know you have been stressing over this lately, so I'm glad you decided to take the leap and try the Poly. Like you said, you'll never know unless you try it...this may become your new favorite!

Let us know how the switch to three resorts goes...I would be interested in your thoughts on this once you do it.

You're a lucky person! I wish I was going back to the Poly in another month! You will be impressed with the beauty of the Polynesian and you also get to enjoy WL on top of it. Be warned, you might get the dreaded Poly fever and want to stay there all of the time, like I do! Have a wonderfull time and enjoy yourself. Have the tonga toast in the morning and try O'hana's at night!

Don't believe a word you've read on this forum about the Poly, they're all wrong. The place is sooooooooo much better than we can even put into words. Ha, just thought I'd throw ya a curve. I've only stayed, and will only stay at the Poly.

What I am afraid of is that I may fall in love with this resort and get hooked on it that I can't sway away from it! Nothing wrong with that.. It just means I need to save more $$!!

Did you guys see the new Polynesian rooms? They expect for all the rooms to be done sometime in Summer '06. New beddings, new daybeds, they will have a flat screen tv of 32" or close to that. new headboards. I read this infos on someone's thread and even put up the pixs of the new Contempo and the Poly rooms set for summer next year. Anyways... they are beautiful rooms. I would like to again try the Poly again next year with their newly renovated rooms. I wouldn't mind trying the Contempo too!! But that's another story...

You are going to love the Poly. It is one of my favorites. I usually stay at the Poly in December for MVMCP. The resort is beautiful with lots of activies for the children. It's fun to watch Wishes from the beach. Have fun with you kids!!
