I could not find this anywhere...and I forgot to ask this earlier!

My family is going to the Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at the Polynesian, my question is what is the best way to get there from WDW?

We will be in the park already and I am not sure if we should drive there or take transportation inside WDW? Does the monorail or train go there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks!

yes you can take the monrail there or one of the ferry(not sure of exact name) boats. we like to take the boat across but i think the monorail is faster. But don't quote me on that one. Have a great time!:cool1:

Just an FYI, WDW consists of all 4 theme parks, 2 water parks and ALL of the Disney resorts (including the Poly....47 sq. miles!) That said....(and I haven't seen your other posts) I suggest taking the monorail. If you aren't staying on property or in a monorail resort (and you will be at the Magic Kingdom (MK) park), you should definitely take a ride on the monorail. It's an experience in itself! (Ask to sit in the front with the driver!)

Sorry I was not clear in my post - yes, we will be in the Magic Kingdom Park prior to going to the breakfast - and no, we are staying off property.

We will definitely look into taking the monorail to get to the Poly. Do anyone know approximately how long it takes on the monorail? (just so we make sure we have enough time to get there).

Thank you all for your help, it is greatly appreciated.

I have not been to Disney in 9 years and this is the first trip we have taken with our boys (they are 7 & 5)...we are really excited now that it is less than 2 weeks away!

If you are in the Magic Kingdom itself for early opening - which it sounds like you are, the best way to get to the Poly in a hurry is by the resort boats that run back and forth. I have timed both ways and unless you hit the monorail at the right time you are in for about 1/2 hour wait. The resort boats ( which are small boats you catch at the pier - just look for the signs on your right as you exit the park) run every 15 min continous and the only stop is at the GFR on the way to the Poly.

Thanks all :D

drcandon ~ I will definately look into the boat idea! I did not know about this option (which is why I LOVE this board!)

if not....then it will definately be the monorail.

We are all really excited...only 9 days to go!!!!!!!!!
